Comment Central: What does it all really mean?
12:30pm: PM rounds off question time by attacking Tory decision to withdraw from mainstream conservative grouping in European Parliament.
All a bit tame in the end. No killer blows or major mistakes either side.
12:29pm: Question about building on greenfield sites. Followed up by question about OECD report on Britain's ability to withstand the recession. "The opposition parties are the first parties to go into an election tomorrow with no policy to deal with the economy," he says.
12:27pm: Another question on global warming from a Labour member. Why can't they ask about the reshuffle?
12:25pm: Labour member says Conservative frontbench have 57 second jobs - 57 varieties of special interests. PM says it is right that Sir Christopher Kelly looks at this issue.
12:24pm: Mr Brown defends his Government's record on reducing poverty.
12:22pm: PM is asked what Government is doing to help homeowners threatened with repossession. Says Council of Mortgage Lenders says repossessions will be far less than had been expected because of the actions the Government has taken.
No mention of any removal men at No 10.
12:21pm: Mr Brown is asking a question about veterans' pensions.
12:18pm: Peter Tapsell, grand Tory grandee, gets up to say, very slowly, that questions of members' allowances should be left to Christopher Kelly's committee and Mr Brown should not try to play the role of a latter-day Thomas Jefferson. Instead, he should ask Her Majesty to dissolve Parliament so that the people should elect a new one.
The PM thanks him for his "300-year perspective".
