For the first time in almost a century the party was defeated in Wales. Gordon Brown will have some serious explaining to do when he meets Labour members tomorrow night. I am off to bed.

02.23 Nick Griffin, who has a criminal conviction for incitement likely to cause racial hatred, says he is going to take a team of BNP researchers to Brussels to uncover alleged frauds committed by the other political parties. "Some of these people are going to go to jail where they belong," he said.
