Attend a special evening hosted by Mike Atherton

Would you like to visit Kingsville? You can look around the village and meet the people you are raising money to help by logging on to a website specially created for The Sunday Times Appeal.
Davina McCall will be your guide at www.savethechildren.org.uk/kingsville, where you can meet Kaytor, the midwife at the clinic supported by Save the Children, take a tour of the school with Charles Dennis, the headmaster, and meet Doyee, a pupil, who will show you around his home. You can also follow Agnes Chea as she collects water and see a slide show of baby Prince.
Take a look at Kingsville now and try to imagine how the village could look in a year’s time. We want to transform Kingsville and improve the lives of every single person who lives there. With your help, we want to refurbish the clinic and fill its shelves with medicines, install solar panels to provide it with electricity, and equip every local midwife with basic tools that could save a baby’s life. We would like to rebuild the school and buy the children pencils and books. We want to give the village a new water pump. And when all that is complete, we want to do the same for more villages, so the whole area starts to get back on its feet.
