July 2003: Mohammed Siddique Khan, the July 7 ringleader, attends jihad camp with Khyam, Anthony Garcia and Jawad Akbar, plus another weapons expert.

Aug 2003: Khan returns to UK

Sept 2003: Khyam returns to UK

Nov 2003: Garcia buys 650kg ammonium nitrate fertiliser; it is put in storage in West London

Jan 2004: Babar visits UK for one month, meets Khyam, Waheed Mahmood, Akbar and Garcia. Khawaja emails Khyam from Canada about detonators

Feb 2004: MI5 and special branch begin surveillance. Khyam’s home and car and Akbar’s flat are bugged

Feb 2: Khan and fellow bomber Shehzad Tanweer meet Omar Khyam

Feb 20: Khawaja flies to Heathrow; is met by Khyam. They discuss detonators. Khawaja returns to Canada. Two days later Khyam emails Amin saying has 650kg fertiliser and asking what to mix it with for explosives. Police switch fertiliser for inert substance

Feb 21: Khan recorded in car driven by Khyam. Later, key meeting in Crawley between several defendants and their associates

Feb 28: Khyam travels in Khan’s car with Khan and Shehzad Tanweer

Mar 2004: Khyam buys tickets to Pakistan for April 6

Mar 23: Khan, Tanweer, and Khyam seen alighting from Khyam’s car

Mar 29: Momin Khawaja arrested in Canada

Mar 30: All defendants except Amin arrested. Police find aluminium powder behind shed at Khyam's family home

Feb 8, 2005: Amin arrested at Heathrow arriving from Pakistan

July 7: Terrorist attacks kill 52 innocent people in London

Mar 21, 2006: "Operation Crevice" trial begins
