Her treatment by the tabloid press:
"Eighteen months of abuse. Worse than murderers and paedophiles. 4,400 abusive articles. Look what they’re doing to the McCanns. The woman and the poor father have lost their daughter. What are we doing as a nation? What are we doing persecuting a woman that is devastated behind closed doors and trying to hold it together as I have for eighteen months. What did the paparazzi do to Diana? They chased her and they killed her." GMTV, October 31 2007
Receiving death threats:
"I have a box of evidence that is going to a certain person should anything happen to me. So if you top me off, it’s still going to go to that certain person. The truth will come out. There is such a fear from a certain party of the truth coming out. Lots of thing have been put out and done." GMTV, October 31 2007
Divorce settlement provisions for daughter Beatrice:
"But Beatrice only gets £35,000 a year. And so she obviously is meant to travel B class while her father travels A class - but obviously I will pay for that.
"£35,000 doesn't include her (Beatrice's) school fees. He wants her to fly five times a year on holiday - £32,000 for two people on return fares, it costs, so that's obviously not meant to happen any more for her. It's very sad.'' To reporters outside the High Court, March 18 2008
Her public speaking:
"I am the No 1 woman speaker in Britain, No3 in Europe and No7 in the world. I get 10 grand for one hour, so I do one a week. If I was greedy I could do two a day." Sunday Times interview, April 1 2001
Being offered a peerage:
In the Sunday Times interview, April 1 2001, Ms Mills said she had been offered a peerage by Tony Blair. A recent ITV investigation found none of the parties allegedly supporting the offer had any knowledge of the matter.
"I am 50-50 about whether I accept the peerage. It would give me more of a platform for my campaign, but it is a bit odd being made a people's peer when it is Blair making the choice."
In the same interview, she claimed that "all parties" had invited her to stand as an MP "in the Lords."
Meeting Bill Clinton:
"Oh, I cancelled because I could not be seen to be benefiting the Democrats. I loved Gore but I won't say what I think about Bush because I have to meet him." Sunday Times interview, April 1 2001
On awards:
Ms Mills claimed in her autobiography that the British Chambers of Commerce presented her with its Outstanding Young Person of the Year award and created the Heather Mills award for young people overcoming hardship or disability.
"We've never had an Outstanding Young Person of the Year award," said a spokesman, Olly Scott. "Neither do we have a Heather Mills Award."
She also claims to have been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 1996, though this cannot be corroborated or disproved as nominees are kept secret for 50 years.
Stella McCartney:
"Every single week Stella tried to break up our marriage. She was so jealous. Stella wasn't interested in her dad's happiness. I can't protect her any longer. She's done evil, evil things." American celebrity show Extra, November 4 2007
