The Queen's eldest grandson Peter Phillips married his Canadian fiancée Autumn Kelly this afternoon in front of 300 guests at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Miss Kelly arrived at the historic chapel, the setting for royal baptisms, marriages and funerals for more than 100 years, in a State Bentley with her father Brian at 4pm.
The 30-year-old bride, who converted from Catholicism to marry in to the Royal Family, wore a dress by London designer Sassi Holford and was escorted by her six bridesmaids, who included her husband's younger sister Zara Phillips, 27, wearing green Vera Wang outfits.
Miss Kelly also wore a tiara borrowed from her new mother-in-law, the Princess Royal, and earrings and a necklace bought for her by her husband.
Mr Phillips, also 30, son of Princess Anne and 11th in line to the throne, was supported by two best men and five ushers, all friends from his time at Gordonstoun School in Elgin, Scotland.
In the chapel, dressed with blooms from London florist Rob Van Helden, readings were due to be given by Patrick Kelly, the bride’s half-brother, and Princess Eugenie, daughter of the Duchess of York.
The service was led by the Dean of Windsor, the Right Reverend David Conner.
Royal guests also included the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry, who was accompanied by his girlfriend Chelsy Davy, 22, and Prince Williams' partner Kate Middleton.
The Prince himself was not at the ceremony, but was instead a guest at the wedding of Batian Craig, the brother of his former girlfriend Jecca Craig, in Kenya.
Other guests at the Windsor wedding included 70 friends and family of the bride who had flown over from Canada.
The celebration will move to Windsor's Frogmore House, where the reception will be held.
The newlywed couple first met in 2003 at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, where Mr Phillips was working for Formula One racing team BMW Williams and Miss Kelly was employed in the main BMW hospitality suite.
When Mr Phillips kept his Royal connections quiet as the fledgling relationship continued to blossom, until Miss Kelly spotted him on a TV programme on the lead up to his cousin Prince William's 21st birthday later in 2003, and the truth was revealed.
The couple have spent the last two years splitting their time between a west London flat and Aston Farm, a cottage on the Gloucestershire estate of Peter’s father, Captain Mark Phillips.
Mr Phillips, who graduated from the University of Exeter with a degree in Sports Science, now looks after the Royal Bank of Scotland’s motor racing sponsorship.
His new wife, a graduate of Canada’s McGill University where she studied East Asian Studies, is now personal assistant to veteran broadcaster Sir Michael Parkinson.
Their couple's engagement was announced in a Buckingham Palace statement in July last year.
