I can't understand this nation's obsession with dogs in the home. I'm Brit and I wouldn't have an animal in my home. Speciesist and proud of it. Mind you, there's a lot of people I wouldn't have in my home either. A very primitive logic tells us that our own dirt is no danger to us but others' is.
