Take a trip to New York and see the city from the air
First
clip: Paying tribute to her husband, Marina describes Alexander
Litvinenko as a 'loving dad and friend'. She says that although he had made
enemies, he was ultimately a caring person. He was a 'very special man'.
Second
clip: Marina describes the traumatic impact on her son Anatoly of the
family's departure from Russia six years ago, and then the subsequent
poisoning of his father. She says that on being told of his father's death
Anatoly told her that he had first lost his life six years ago.
Third
clip: She explains that Alexander attempted to keep her in the dark
about his business activities to protect her. She adds that it was important
for him to know that she and their child would be safe.
Fourth
clip: In the couple's last years living in Russia. Alexander was getting
increasingly frustrated with his job, according to Marina. She says he
became upset at what he was seeing within the FSB and what he was being
asked to do.
Fifth
clip: The day Alexander Litvinenko is thought to have been poisoned was
also the anniversary of the couple's escape from Russia. Marina says she had
cooked him a special chicken meal. That night, lying in bed, he told her
that he was feeling sick.
Sixth
clip: Marina describes how she struggled to cope with seeing her husband
becoming sicker, and her despair at the deterioration in his condition. He
went from being a handsome man to an old man within days as she attempted to
hide her horror.
Seventh
clip: The gravity of his condition dawned on Marina in the last couple
of days of Alexander's life. In the video, she breaks down as she describes
the moment when she suddenly realised her husband was about to die.
