Posh Spice to publish life story
Victoria Adams, better known as Posh Spice, is to publish her autobiography, it was announced today.

The pop star has been working on the book since the beginning of the year and it is expected to hit the shelves in September 2001.

Penguin, which signed the deal, said it was delighted to be publishing the "extraordinary story of one of the biggest celebrities in the world today".

The book will cover her childhood, life with the Spice Girls, marriage to footballer David Beckham, motherhood and her current solo career.

Much of the autobiography will be based on a diary which the Spice Girls star has been keeping for the last couple of years.

It will also contain some exclusive family photographs of her, David Beckham and baby son Brooklyn.

Details of the book deal came on the day that Andrew Morton’s unauthorised biography of the celebrity couple hit the shelves.
