Amy Winehouse’s husband has admitted to beating up a pub landlord and then attempting to cover it up, it can be revealed today.
Blake Fielder-Civil, 26, pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm on James King, 36, and of perverting the course of justice by conspiring to have a witness withdraw from the trial.
The pleas were submitted at Snaresbrook Crown Court, East London, last week but can only be reported now after an order banning publication was lifted by Judge David Radford.
The order also prevented reporting of an allegation that Mr King, of Risley in Derbyshire, could have been subjected to intimidation or duress. Mr King, who denies perverting the course of justice, now faces a separate trial.
Winehouse, who married Fielder-Civil in a ceremony in Miami in May last year, visited the court twice last week to support her husband. The singer gave her husband loving looks as he bobbed and grinned in the dock. He has been on remand in Pentonville prison since before Christmas.
Fielder-Civil’s co-defendant Michael Brown, 25, of Carshalton in Surrey, also pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice.
Anthony Kelly, 25, of Chalk Farm in North London, and James Kennedy, 19, of Hatfield in Hertforshire, also pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice.
Mr King, of Risley, Derbyshire, alone faces trial on a charge of perverting the course of justice.

And when will Amy Winehouse be charged and prosecuted for her assaults on members of the public and possession of drugs?
When will Amy Winehouse ever, ever, ever face the consequences of her incessant law breaking?
Laura Roberts, London, United Kingdom
Yes, but when is *she* going to be finally prosecuted, that's the real question.
Helen E., London, United Kingdom
Only need to look at these 2 to see the devastating effects of drugs on them. Maybe they will get clean one day soon.
Kevin, London, UK
I wonder will we still be subjected to attending festivals and listening to Amy about how innocent her hubbie is
