DELHI Aniket Chindak is a mere 20cm (8 inches) above the ground as he prepares to skate under a four-wheel-drive vehicle. “Limbo-skating” under vehicles is the latest craze among Indian children and requires the flexibility, strength and balance of a gymnast.
Six-year-old Aniket, who trains for four hours a day and has never hurt himself, aims to break his world record of 57 cars in 45 seconds with a 100-car skate. He started two years ago and it took him three months to get his body into the right position. He said: “The hardest thing is to go fast enough before I bend down. That’s how you can skate under so many cars at once.”
