Firstly, I am still trying to find the link to download the first cd., as your newspaper says I can do by going to "Times online"; secondly; When, if ever is the second and third cd.'s going to be released. This is the second time I have emailed the Times with this query.

The free Teach yourself Chinese is NOT really good. It is full of mistakes and they don't seem to understand tones (what is the difference between 1st and 3rd in your orthography? - why are you using non-standard diacritics?).
The accompanying articles are also full of errors and ignorance.
The whole enterprise is embarrasingly bad.

Thanks for the interesting coverage of Chinese New Year but quoting Mao Zedong at this major celebration is not quite in keeping with the traditional spirit of the festival.
