We've made some changes
to The Sunday Times

The Finnish mass murderer Pekka-Eric Auvinen, 18, posted this video on YouTube in the hours before before embarking on a killing spree at Jokela High School. In it a picture of his school fades away to be replaced by an image of the killer pointing a gun at the camera. The video predicting his devastating attack is accompanied by a soundrack by the German heavy-metal band KMFDM.

Yet ANOTHER example of a "Gun Free Zone".....thats 8 more baths of blood those who support gun control get to bathe in.

When you do the reality check about the psychological well-being of young people in Finland you should consider other sources of influence than just the quality of the educational system.
The reason for this insane drama lies all around us.
We are narrow minded, angry, sad sad sad people. We are told not to show our feelings. We trust the sisu-thing. Finnish men eat rocks, laughed an old British friend of mine about 15 years ago. We should sometimes say: "hey, it´s quite ok to make mistakes" and "it´s totally ok to be different than the rest of the gang". We are not forgiving, and most of all, we are very selfish people. I see this very clearly.
Trust me, I just came from New York. The difference between people here and there is huge. You can feel it right away.
The worst failure here is the police intelligence.
They have completely missed the bus.
The information was there. If someone just wanted to see it.

this is so sad. why he had to kill innocent people? that is so wrong! young boys lost their life because of this mad man! and the children, who were in that school that day - I guess that they won't get over this. People stop this kind of murders, it shouldn't be happening!! innocent people have to suffer, is NOT OK!! school is one place where the children shouldn't feel fear, the school should be safe place for todays students. but it isn't that, not anymore.

Shocking news. How this can happen in Finland, where should be one of best educational systems in the whole world?
