NATO was created ONLY for striking Russia and can't be effectively used somewhere else. Read your history.

NATO would be more poliitically effective if it did not include the USA. With the USA as a (dominant) member, NATO countries are bound to US political and ideological ambitions which are inevitably not always consistent with Europe's.
