JURORS in Michael Jackson’s trial were yesterday shown pictures of naked boys seized from the singer’s bedroom in 1993, during a previous sex abuse investigation.

The pictures were in two books found at Mr Jackson’s Neverland ranch after allegations by Jordy Chandler, who settled his case with the singer for a reported $20 million. Jurors were shown only the covers and front pages.

One book, Boys Will Be Boys, featured an image of fair-haired boys in swimsuits jumping into water. The inscription, by Mr Jackson, read: “Look at the true spirit of happiness and joy in these boys’ faces, this is the spirit of boyhood, a life I’ve never had and will always dream of. This is the life I want for my children.”

The other book The Boy: A Photographic Essay, also contained an enigmatic inscription that said: “To Michael from your fan, XXXOOO,‘Rhonda’.” The note was dated 1983.

The pictures were some of the last evidence presented by the prosecution. The trial is expected to finish within days.
