There is nothing to this story as some posted have explained. As an Independent, one observation I have made during this primary season, is that there are so many "haters" out there in our country. There are so many folks that don't look into the facts when an alternative, easy, yet false, explanation is offered to them. They jump on every bandwagon and every email that comes to them if it supports their cause without checking the facts. It really makes me angry when some of the folks that were claiming they were the true patriots when we decided to preemptively invade Iraq (and scolded those who didn't support it) are now saying bad things about Obama and his message of our need to change our future. Please, start loving and stop hating!

I certainly would go for McCain over Obama now.
Evelyn, Lincoln, NE
As regards Ms. Faye's comment: Senator Obama bought the 1.65million mansion without a mortgage but nowhere does he say how he managed to put together this kind of capital given his slary, his wife's salary and any advances from his writing were subject to taxes and would not have added up to enough after taxes and cost of living to have made such a lump sum possible. Sdnator Obama's tax records do give any answers as they show no large sums of capital or stock holdings that could explain the money.

The seller of the Obama house and the next door land STIPULATED THAT BOTH had to be sold at the same time There was nothing untoward about the arrangement - Obama didnt want the vacant lot and simply got someone else to buy it at the time he bought the house! END OF STORY.

Obama wants to change "What" exactly. He only says what the people want to hear. His wife should be apologizing to America for her statements about this country. They are a joke. If Hillary doesn't beat Obama then it is likely 75% of her supporters will vote for McCain. Obama's first mistake was the church he attends and supports. The second blow was his wife's statement about her feeling proud of this country for the first time in her adult life. These two things were enough for me to know that I don't want them as our representatives for the USA.
Kathryn Morse, Lorton, Va
Where does Obama fit into this other than the plot of land he has already revealed and admitted to? Why must this ugly ineffective story be continued on and on? Is this the worst you can find on Obama? If this is true than I think he has to be one of the best politicans of our lifetime.
Thank you for revealing there is nothing new here or unknown to the American public except Republican fear and Billary Anger.
Janet Faye, dallas, texas
Barack claims he is interested change....It is time for change. The part he forgets is that with politicians (including himself) some things NEVER change....Corruption? Back-handed dealings? Hiding behind the cloak of propriety? Tell me it isn't true! But it really is......Shame on him! Shame on the Clintons.......Shame..Shame ...Shame...NOT CHANGE!!
