Don, I don't know what your frame of reference is, but supporting all the members of a large extended family in the U.S. with $2MM (much tied up house & retirement plans) is a little like expecting a Big Mac burger to feed everyone at a banquet. The numbers don't work. Obama is well off, not rich.

This lady is only a half-aunt in Obama's extended multi-racial complex of relatives. Must he pay for all of them? Play father to all of them? Course not. This lady is also an illegal immigrant and has been for a few years it seems. This is quite a shocking piece of news so close to Tuesday.

REALLY! How many of you out there, rich or middle class, are "supporting" your relatives. Especially relatives with whom you were not raised nor had a close relationship. Obama's aunt is doing fine. Most Americans do not want a handout; they are proud to make it on there own.
