Alpha Mummy: What are your election plans?
Times Online Naturally. Follow the latest breaking news, video, comment on the Across the Pond blog and the latest from the elections rumour-mill at Comment Central.
Current TV Co-hosted by Digg and Twitter, coverage includes video from 12seconds.tv, and a Live DJ set by Diplo. This down-with-the-kids coverage boasts "No pundits, just perspective."
Comedy Central Comedy Central's coverage - some of the most cutting of the campaign - includes a live blog, and a live Daily Show/Colbert Report Election Special at 3am GMT/10pm EST. Resolutely pro-Obama.
Five Thirty-eight "Electoral projections done right". A number-crunching polling site that digests all the numbers flying around.
The New York Times All the news that's fit to print, or post, with videos updated every half hour and analysis. Check out the Polling Place Photo Project where readers send in their snaps to capture the scenes while voting. http://pollingplaces.nytimes.com/
Huffington Post The Huffington Post - perhaps the premier liberal site in the US - is the go-to site for Obama-philes looking for video, blogs and stories to keep everyone fired up as the night progresses.
Talking Points Memo Talking Points Memo will be livestreaming from Obama's headquarters and posting results with a map created with its partner Google.
Meme-o-randum Keep up with bloggers on the Memeorandum site, which has a downloadable script that shows the leanings of the bloggers (red for conservative, blue for liberal).
Real Clear Politics Real Clear Politics figures in every poll addict's bookmarks. Throughout today it will have all the Presidential, Senate and House polls you can possibly need. And its bloggers will do the interpreting for you.
Twitter Vote Report The award-winning blog techPresident along with a non-partisan, all-volunteer network of software developers, designers, and collaborators have created this site that aggregates Twitter updates from around the country that will be mapped "so that we can 'see' voting problems around the country in real-time," according to the site.
Drudge Report Links to the some of the hottest stories on the web from the influential right-leaning site.
BetFair If you think the bookies always know best, check out betfair's odds on the next President.
Justin Webb Forget Russell Brand. Justin Webb, the BBC’s devilishly handsome Man In America (well, one of them anyway), blogs from the heart of the campaigns with a surprisingly light touch.
Politico Politico has all the standard election coverage paraphernalia – swing state map, live blogging of the results but adds in some irreverent video commentary taking in Vanilla Ice, Mary Poppins and vehemently anti-Obama cardinals.
Daily Kos The Daily Kos is a democrat-slanted blog that collates opinion from across the US media. This is a site to read on the morning after for reaction to the result.
Fark The playful and frequently ribald news aggregator Fark collects offbeat news articles from across the web. If there’s a scandal, you'll see it here first
Wonkette Wonkette rounds up all the hottest gossip from Capitol Hill. Strongly pro-Obama it’s a fun read for anyone who wants a chuckle at the expense of the McCain-Palin ticket
Slate Magazine Highly-recommended online magazine Slate is running an online tipsheet with an hourly digest of all the significant developments
Swing State Project Swing State Project is running probably the best of the election maps, showing poll closing times as well as cumulative counts.
Salon.com Salon is running its own predictably accurate and acerbic commentary on breaking election news with embedded campaign adverts and tips on the right pen to use in the voting booth
Pollster Pollster has, apart from the now-standard election map, a rolling list of pre-and post voting polls from across the US.
Karl Rove's blog The site of the loved and loathed Republican pundit (and creator of the mud-slinging Rovian-style politics) already features an electoral map showing Obama has won. You can also see how the electoral college vote map has changed over the course of the campaign.
ABC News Livestreams of its newscast, the scene at both the McCain and Obama campaigns’ headquarters, roving reporters and searchable exit polling data, liveblogging and results via SMS.
The Atlantic magazine Live election reporting from the venerable Atlantic magazine.
Election Geek: Obsessively blogging every detail of the 2008 presidential contest

Another site to scope out is Tropicana's Freshly Squeezed Election Tweets, a twitter visualization:

I've been working on the site with Tropicana, and we just launched it this morning. It aggregates tweets real-time and creates a spiffy (and addicting!) visualization.
