Attend an evening with Andre Agassi

What are your thoughts on the decision to leave out Steve Harmison and
Stuart Broad?
It's not particularly surprising.
Most people thought they would go back to six batsmen and once they did then Broad had to go. They need their best four bowlers and Broad hasn't been taking wickets recently, there were also reports that he was feeling a bit tired, so it's no surprise really.
You
criticised the decision to include Harmison in the squad so do
you feel the selectors have done the right thing by leaving him out?
I couldn't see how Harmison was going to get into the team.
If they played with four bowlers, I couldn't see him getting ahead of Ryan Sidebottom, James Anderson or Andrew Flintoff and if they played with five then I thought they would probably want Broad's extra batting.
So it seemed an odd selection to me because I couldn't see how he was going to
get into the team. It was no surprise to me that he was left out.
Do you feel that England have the firepower to take 20 wickets and level the
series?
They looked like winning at Lord's, although in the end South Africa drew the
game easily and they only had four bolwers there.
But this is the team the captain wanted. He wanted Paul Collingwood back, he wanted a more balanced line-up. It looked very strange at Headingley with Tim Ambrose at No 6 and it would have looked very strange at Edgbaston with Ambrose at six again.
So it is a team that the captain is probably happier with. Edgbaston can swing so Michael Vaughan has to ensure that Anderson and Sidebottom create some problems.
But I wouldn't be surprised to see England bounce back because series between these teams have always been quite close.
