Take a trip to New York and see the city from the air

Who is the captain?
Darren Gough
Who are the overseas players?
Morne Morkel (South Africa), Rana Naved-ul-Hasan (Pakistan)
Who has arrived?
Gary Ballance, Chris Taylor (both Derbyshire)
Who has left?
Chris Gilbert, Jason Gillespie (Glamorgan), Nick Thornicroft, Matthew Wood (Glamorgan), Younus Khan, Inzamam-ul-Haq
What has the IPL/ICL done to them?
Rana was cleared to play, despite appearing in the ICL
What is their nickname?
Yorkshire Carnegie, as part of a sponsorship arrangement with Leeds Metropolitan University's faculty of sport and education
How did they fare last season?
LV County Championship: 6th, first division; Natwest Pro40: 6th, second division; Friends Provident Trophy: 5th, North Conference. Twenty20 Cup: quarter-finals. After a racing start in the county championship, they had slowed to a crawl by the end of the season, eventually finishing sixth. But after the turmoil of the previous winter, which resulted in Gough and Martyn Moxon, the director of cricket, returning to the club, this was a satisfactory outcome
What are their prospects?
This is likely to be Gough's final season and he does not want to leave the stage quietly. If Morkel and Rana can give the attack a cutting edge, Yorkshire could be highly competitive
What are their strengths?
Plenty of depth to their batting. Jacques Rudolph and Anthony McGrath were prolific last season and there is a strong lower middle-order behind them, with Gerard Brophy, Adil Rashid and Tim Bresnan all capable all-rounders
What are their weaknesses?
Gough was short of support in the seam-bowling department last year, hence the preference for imported fast bowlers to fill this season's overseas place
One to watch
Rashid. Although the 20-year-old's leg-spin bowling has attracted most of the attention, he actually had a better season with the bat last year, averaging 46.47
