Nicolas Anelka has been ruled with a hamstring injury, so new manager Gary Megson must look elsewhere for the firepower to shoot Bolton into the quarter-finals.
Megson reports a series of niggles from Sunday's draw with Aston Villa and a number of changes are expected with the new manager eager to run the rule over as many of his squad as possible during his early weeks in charge.
Andreas Isaksson will make his first appearance of the season.The Sweden World Cup star gets his chance after watching Kasper Schmeichel and Joe Hart stake a claim to be first-choice this season.
After making mass changes in the previous two rounds, Sven-Goran Eriksson is toying with the idea of sticking with the side who performed so badly at Chelsea on Saturday, although Martin Petrov (toe) is a doubt.

Chelsea v Leicester City
Avram Grant may recall both Shaun Wright-Phillips and Florent Malouda. Both players were left out of the side for the 6-0 drubbing of Manchester City but should be restored as Grant looks to shuffle his pack for the match.
John Terry and left-back Ashley Cole are sidelined with knee and ankle injuries respectively while Michael Ballack is still missing with ankle problems.
James Wesolowski (hamstring) and Iain Hume (muscle strain) face late fitness tests for Leicester after the duo suffered slight knocks against Barnsley on Saturday.
Stephen Clemence missed out at the weekend after tearing a hamstring against Sheffield United and the Foxes captain remains doubtful.
On-loan striker Collins John marked his full debut with the opening goal against the Tykes but he is cup-tied having already featured in the competition for Fulham.

Peter Crouch seems set to start only his sixth game of the season, after he impressed as a second-half substitute in Sunday's draw with Arsenal. Harry Kewell is back in full training after a groin problem, and could get his first run out of the season.
Rafael Benitez is also likely to use second choice goalkeeper Charles Itandje, Lucas, Sebastian Leto and Fabio Aurelio as Fernando Torres, Javier Mascherano, Jermaine Pennant and Xabi Alonso are all injured.
Cardiff striker Robbie Fowler lines up against his former club. Kevin McNaughton, Roger Johnson, Trevor Sinclair and Paul Parry are injury doubts and on-loan Manchester City keeper Kasper Schmeichel is ineligible.
Michael Oakes will return to the starting line-up in goal, with youngster Josh Magennis on the bench as David Ford is cup-tied.

Luton Town v Everton
Chris Perry is set to continue at right-back after Chris Coyne returned from a groin injury to partner on-loan Bolton youngster Jaroslaw Fojut in the centre of defence against Forest while Paul Furlong will play alone up front.
Drew Talbot made a brief return to training on Monday after missing the last two games with a viral infection but has been sent home to fully recover and will miss out once more.
Sam Parkin and Paul Peschisolido are both out with ankle injuries.
Everton are without Leighton Baines after the England under-21 full-back was forced off against Derby with an ankle injury. Mikel Arteta is doubtful after picking up a calf strain in Sunday's 2-0 win, although James Vaughan is back in contention after returning to training on Monday.
Alan Irvine has confirmed Everton will name a strong squad with Phil Neville and Tony Hibbert available again following suspension while Tim Cahill and Thomas Gravesen have recently returned from injury.

Sulley Muntari (hamstring) and Hermann Hreidarsson (foot) are injury doubts but manager Harry Redknapp is ready to name his strongest possible side.
Redknapp made 10 changes in the last round for the win at Burnley but will including internationals David James and Sol Campbell in his squad.
Sean Davis is available again after a one-match ban and Benjani is likely to lead the attack again despite his penalty miss against West Ham on Saturday.
David Nugent is fit again after a groin problem but is likely to be a substitute again along with Kanu, who played the last 15 minutes against the Hammers - his first appearance in five weeks after a knee injury. Richard Hughes is serving a three-match suspension.
Robbie Savage has undergone knee surgery and has been ruled out of action for between five and six weeks.
Savage is Blackburn's only new injury after he limped out of Sunday's Barclays Premier League win at Tottenham. Mark Hughes will rotate his squad for tomorrow's clash with matches against Liverpool and Manchester United on the horizon.
The game comes too soon for both Steven Reid and Jason Roberts, although the former is continuing to build up his match fitness.

Sheffield United keeper Paddy Kenny is sidelined with a badly bruised shin, so Ian Bennett takes his place in goal.
Gary Cahill and Phil Bardsley are both cup-tied so Chris Morgan and Chris Lucketti are likely to earn recalls.
Arsene Wenger looks set to give youth a chance once again. Nicklas Bendtner and Theo Walcott are pressing for a place in the starting XI after coming off the bench at Liverpool, while Brazilian teenager Denilson is also in contention for a midfield slot.
Lukasz Fabianski is expected to be in goal, with young Italian Vito Mannone again on the bench.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto (ankle), Gareth Bale (foot), Anthony Gardner (ankle), Ricardo Rocha (ankle) and Ledley King (knee) are on the sidelines.
Struggling Blackpool are hoping Andy Morrell (back) will return after missing three games but fellow striker Ben Burgess (ankle) is still out.
Skipper Michael Jackson is fighting to shake off a stomach strain and Keith Southern is a severe doubt (ankle).
