Aberdeen and Bolton Wanderers face difficult tasks to reach the last 16 of the Uefa Cup after receiving tough draws in the first knock-out stage.

The Scottish club are paired with Bayern Munich, while Bolton face Atletico Madrid. Aberdeen will meet either Anderlecht or Bordeaux should they defeats the German giants, while Bolton could play either Sporting Lisbon or FC Basle.

Everton appear have the easiest tie after being drawn against SK Brann, of Norway, but they could face a much tougher assignment in the last 16 against either Rosenborg or Fiorentina.

Tottenham Hotspur meet Slavia Prague, who were thrashed 7-0 by Arsenal in the Champions League qualifiers earlier this season, with Helsingborgs or PSV Eindhoven lying in wait for the winners.

Rangers, who dropped down into the Uefa Cup draw after finishing third in their Champions League group, have been paired with Panathinaikos. The Glasgow club will play either Werder Bremen or Sporting Braga if they win the tie.
