Michael Carrick, Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand and Ryan Giggs all travelled after pickling up knocks on Saturday

Wednesday
Arsenal v Liverpool
Emmanuel Adebayor looks set to return to the Arsenal attack after being rested against Bolton on Saturday. Abou Diaby is available for the European tie, despite his domestic suspension for the red card at the Reebok Stadium.
Emmanuel Eboue could slot back onto the right side of defence, which would allow Theo Walcott another chance to impress down the right wing after coming off the bench in the 3-2 victory at the weekend.
Bacary Sagna (ankle), midfielder Tomas Rosicky (hamstring) remain sidelined.
Javier Mascherano is likely to return to the Liverpool side after serving a one-game suspension, with Lucas Leiva likely to drop out.
Defenders Alvaro Arbeloa and Fabio Aurelio are also back in the squad while Fernando Torres, Xabi Alonso and Ryan Babel have been passed fit.

Is it just me or does the thought of Silvestre coming back into the squad fill you with dread? This player just doesn't seem to have the concentration levels of the rest of the squad. He plays better at left back as there is less pressure there and he can hit those 45 yard diagonal passes that were so fruitful 3 seasons ago. But that is my point, he has used up his time at Old Trafford. He should be sold on and a new defender brought in. His versatility will not be missed as John Oshea is there. Pace doesn't make you a good player, look at David Bellion!
