Jo Kuffour, the Bournemouth forward, should start, while Russ Perrett, the defender, is back in contention after an extended layoff. Orient have no new injury worries, but could bring back Sean Thornton. Clayton Fortune (dislocated shoulder) is still out.

Bristol Rovers v Luton Town 3pm
Joe Jacobson, the Rovers defender, is a doubt after suffering concussion last Saturday. Paul Furlong, the Luton forward, will again be missing with a hamstring problem, while Paul Peschisolido, Richard Langley and Paul Underwood remain long-term casualties.

Doncaster Rovers v Northampton Town 3pm
Jason Price will continue in the Doncaster attack after returning from a back problem but they are still without Gordon Greer, the defender. Andy Kirk, the Northampton forward, will continue in the team because Poul Hübertz is still out with a knee injury.

Gillingham v Southend United 1pm
Adam Bygrave has extended his loan spell at Gillingham and will play, but Ian Cox and Efe Sodje, the defenders, are set to miss out through injuries. Alan McCormack, the Southend midfield player, starts a two-match suspension today.

Hartlepool United v Leeds United Noon
Eddie Nolan will feature for Hartlepool after extending his loan from Blackburn Rovers for another month but Andy Monkhouse, Joel Porter, Jamie McCunnie and Ben Clark are injured. Leeds, still without Jonathan Douglas, will give a fitness test to David Prutton.

Huddersfield Town v Crewe Alexandra 3pm
Huddersfield are without Danny Cadamarteri and Frank Sinclair, but Chris Brandon may return to the squad after two months out with a back injury. For Crewe, Gary Roberts is suspended, while Eugen Bopp, Steven Schumacher and George Abbey are injured.

Millwall v Brighton & Hove Albion 1pm
Millwall’s injury problems persist, with Neil Harris (knee) and Ahmet Brkovic (hamstring) facing late fitness tests. Brighton may recall Dean Cox, who is back in the squad after being left out for one game because of a breach of club discipline.

Oldham Athletic v Nottingham Forest 3pm
Neil Eardley, the captain, should return after a ban for Oldham, who are unbeaten in ten games. Forest are likely to be without Nathan Tyson, the forward, who injured a hamstring at the weekend, and Kelvin Wilson, the key defender, who has a thigh strain.

Port Vale v Walsall 3pm
Marc Richards, the Port Vale forward, returns from suspension, while Mark Salmon, the midfield player who is on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers, is likely to continue in the lineup. Walsall welcome back Dan Fox and Ishmel Demontagnac after suspensions.

Swansea City v Cheltenham Town 2pm
The extra rest provided by the postponement of Swansea’s game away to Carlisle on Saturday should allow Jason Scotland to recover from a stomach injury. Ashley Vincent and Scott Brown, the midfield player, may return after injuries for Cheltenham.

Tranmere Rovers v Carlisle United 3pm
Tranmere are without John Mullin (hamstring) and have doubts over Ben Chorley (shin) and Gareth Taylor (knee). Carlisle are likely to call up Kevin Gall to replace Joe Anyinsah, who has returned to Preston North End after a loan period.

Yeovil Town v Swindon Town 2pm
Marcus Stewart is expected to return from suspension for Yeovil. Ady Williams, Swindon’s joint caretaker-manager, is out after his first appearance of the season as a second-half substitute on Saturday lasted four minutes because of a hamstring injury.
