Accrington Stanley v Aldershot, 3pm
Jimmy Ryan, the former Liverpool trainee who has signed a 12-month contract, is expected to make his Accrington debut in midfield. Jamie Clarke, the teenager on loan from Blackburn, starts up front. Anthony Straker, the Aldershot defender, is suspended but their goalkeeper Nikki Bull has overcome a knee problem and Marvin Morgan, the forward, makes his debut after recovering from a virus.
Barnet v Chesterfield, 3pm
Rob Beckwith, the Barnet goalkeeper, is a doubt with a groin injury, so Lee Harrison is ready to deputise. Alan Goodall, the former Luton defender who has arrived on a two-year contract, is one of up to seven players who could make their debuts for Chesterfield. Rob Page (hip) and Jamie Lowry (blisters) have both been passed fit.
Bournemouth v Gillingham, 3pm
A knee injury rules out Danny Hollands, the Bournemouth midfield player, but Joe Partington, Ryan Garry, Warren Cummings and Jo Kuffour have all been passed fit. Joel Ward, the defender signed on loan from Portsmouth, is expected to be on the bench. Mark McCammon, the forward who has overcome a hamstring problem and Curtis Weston, the midfield player on loan from Leeds, make their Gillingham debuts.
Bradford City v Notts County, 3pm
Barry Conlon, the Bradford forward, is likely to partner Peter Thorne up front as new arrival Michael Boulding continues his rehabilitation from an ankle injury. Paul McLaren and Paul Heckingbottom have returned to training, but do not come into contention. New signings Delroy Facey and Sean Canham are expected to figure in the Notts County forward line.
Bury v Brentford, 3pm
Ryan Cresswell, the Bury defender, is pushing for a start after joining them in the summer, but may not dislodge the pairing of Efe Sodje and Ben Futcher at centre-back. Brett Johnson, the former Northampton defender who has signed a one-year contract, is set to make his Brentford debut, with both Ryan Dickson and Sam Wood injury doubts.
Dagenham & Redbridge v Chester City, 3pm
Michael Alaile, the teenage Dagenham & Redbridge defender, is likely to make his League debut because Danny Foster and Shane Huke are injured. Ben Strevens, the forward, will start after turning down a move to Hereford United. Paul Linwood, the Chester City captain, is a doubt with a back injury. Sean Kelly and Kevin Roberts are on standby to deputise.
