Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea FT The full-time whistle goes and the Chelsea players celebrate as if they have won the cup. They just about deserved it but did not dominate in the second half as much as in the first. But it was once more an error from Arsenal's makeshift defence that gifted the goal. Drogba easily beat Silvestre to the ball and Fabianski made the Chelsea forward's task easier by rushing out too soon. That was his eighth goal in nine games against Wenger's team and they cannot find a way to stop him. It came just after Adebayor was substituted which may have caused Arsenal to switch off and it certainly stymied their ability to get a late equaliser. Frank Lampard was deservedly man of the match for dominating in midfield.

84mins GOAL! Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea Lampard punts the ball upfield and Drogba outmuscles Silvestre, rounds the onrushing Fabianski, and steers the ball into the empty net.
