Bristol City have agreed an undisclosed fee with Genclerbirligi for Nick Carle, the Australian international midfielder. The Sydney-born midfielder has been capped seven times by Australia and City boss Gary Johnson feels he will add versatility and class to his side. "He will add quality to our squad and give me extra options because he can play anywhere across the midfield and also up front." Johnson said. (PA)
Leeds United have completed the permanent signing of Sebastian Sorsa, the HJK Helsinki winger. The 23-year-old has signed an 18-month contract on a Bosman free transfer. (PA)

Stuart Gray, the Northampton Town manager, looks resigned to losing Bradley Johnson, the midfielder, after the club received a "substantial" offer from a Championship side ahead of the 1-1 draw against Millwall on New Year's Day," Gray said.
