Birmingham City v Blackburn Rovers
James McFadden and Liam Ridgewell are Birmingham's main injury doubts. McFadden has suffered a reaction to the knee problem which required keyhole surgery five weeks ago although Alex McLeish is hopeful he can still play.
Ridgewell had to be substituted at half-time during the 2-0 defeat against Fulham at Craven Cottage with an ankle injury. City need to win and then hope that Reading and Fulham slip up if they are to maintain their top-flight status.
Benni McCarthy could return to the squad for the trip to Birmingham on Sunday. The South Africa international, who has scored 11 goals this season, has missed the last two matches with a hamstring injury.
Christopher Samba showed no ill-effects from a previous thigh problem as he managed 90 minutes in last weekend's 3-1 victory over Derby and should continue in central defence.
Birmingham City (from): Taylor, Doyle, Kelly, Ridgewell, Jaidi, Schmitz, Murphy, Parnaby, Larsson, Johnson, Nafti, Muamba, McSheffrey, Kapo, Forssell, McFadden, Jerome, O'Connor.
Blackburn (from): Friedel, Reid, Nelsen, Samba, Ooijer, Warnock, Bentley, Emerton, Vogel, Pedersen, Santa Cruz, Roberts, Dunn, Brown, Tugay, Derbyshire, McCarthy, Mokoena, Khizanishvili.
Avram Grant will make a late check on Ricardo Carvalho's back injury ahead of the Barclays Premier League clash against Bolton on Sunday.
Salomon Kalou has been carrying an ankle complaint but will be fit for the season finale at Stamford Bridge when Grant's men could lift the title. Carlo Cudicini has a hamstring injury.
Gary Megson is hoping Joey O'Brien and Ivan Campo will be available for the trip to Chelsea.
The pair missed last weekend's crucial 2-0 home win over Sunderland due to hamstring and calf injuries respectively.
Both players could be passed fit to face Avram Grant's side although Jussi Jaaskelainen and Ricardo Gardner and Nicky Hunt remain sidelined.
Chelsea (from): Cech, Hilario, Belletti, Ferreira, Carvalho, Alex, Ben-Haim, Terry, A Cole, Bridge, J Cole, Ballack, Essien, Lampard, Wright-Phillips, Malouda, Kalou, Anelka, Drogba, Shevchenko, Obi, Makelele.
Bolton (from): Al Habsi, Samuel, Andrew O'Brien, Cahill, Steinsson, Nolan, Campo, Giannakopoulos, McCann, Joey O'Brien, Guthrie, Taylor, Davies, Rasiak, Diouf, Walker, Fojut, Cohen, Alonso, Helguson.
Paul Jewell is boosted by the return of six players for Sunday's final Barclays Premier League game of the season against Reading.
Stephen Pearson, Mo Camara, Gary Teale, Lewin Nyatanga and Stephen Bywater have all returned to Pride Park after the conclusion of their loan spells while David Jones has recovered from a calf injury. Jewell will hand a late fitness test to Jay McEveley (hamstring) but Dean Leacock requires a hernia operation and misses out.
Glen Little, the Reading winger, is rated as doubtful for the game at Derby because of a calf injury. Steve Coppell has no other injury worries but will be without two players who have been suspended by the club.
Ibrahima Sonko and Emerse Fae are still serving two-week suspensions after refusing to play in a reserve game earlier in the month.
Derby (from): Carroll, Moore, McEveley, Mears, Addison, Edworthy, Sterjovski, Savage, Ghaly, Lewis, Miller, Villa, Earnshaw, Todd, Beardsley, Feilhaber, Price, Camara, Teale, Pearson, Nyatanga, Bywater.
Reading (from): Hahnemann, Federici, Rosenior, Murty, de la Cruz, Ingimarsson, Duberry, Bikey, Shorey, Doyle, Oster, Harper, Matejovsky, Cisse, Hunt, Kitson, Lita, Long, Convey.
With Mikel Arteta now recovering back home in Spain following a stomach operation, Everton may well be unchanged for Sunday's final league game of the season against Newcastle at Goodison Park.
They need just one point to be sure of fifth place and their third European qualification in four seasons. Only a defeat by Newcastle and an Aston Villa win at West Ham on the final day will rob the Toffees of automatic qualification for the UEFA Cup.
Tony Hibbert will continue at right-back, with Phil Neville in the holding midfield role he occupied in last weekend's 1-0 defeat at Arsenal.
Kevin Keegan will be forced to make changes for the trip to Everton.
Mark Viduka could be out for up to six months as he waits to discover if his Achilles problem requires surgery, while Joey Barton is unavailable. Alan Smith, Damien Duff and Charles N'Zogbia will all hope to benefit from their absence, although Emre has been allowed to join up with the Turkey squad early ahead of Euro 2008 and James Milner is not sufficiently recovered from the foot injury which has sidelined him for two months.
Keegan decided several weeks ago not to risk Shay Given again this season after groin surgery, while Stephen Carr has been told he can leave the club and Peter Ramage has decided not to stay.
Everton (from): Howard, Hibbert, Yobo, Jagielka, Lescott, Baines, Valente, Carsley, Neville, Osman, Fernandes, Pienaar, Johnson, Yakubu, Anichebe, Wessels, Rodwell, Gosling.
Newcastle (from): Harper, Forster, Beye, Enrique, Taylor, Faye, Edgar, Cacapa, Diatta, Butt, N'Zogbia, Duff, Geremi, Owen, Smith, Martins, Carroll.
Middlesbrough v Manchester City
Chris Riggott could keep his place for Sunday's Barclays Premier League clash with Manchester City.
Riggott started and scored in last weekend's 2-0 win over Portsmouth which secured the club's top-flight status after being recalled from his loan spell at Stoke. He is likely to figure again with Robert Huth (foot) still missing, while Mohamed Shawky is out with a back problem which could see him miss Egypt's summer internationals.
Andreas Isaksson, the Manchester City goalkeeper, has been recalled for the match at Middlesbrough on Sunday. Isaksson has endured a frustrating campaign with Joe Hart the preferred choice between the posts.
Micah Richards, Nedum Onuoha and Valeri Bojinov remain sidelined for what could be Sven-Goran Eriksson's last match in charge.
Middlesbrough (from): Schwarzer, Turnbull, Jones, Young, Taylor, Grounds, McMahon, Wheater, Pogatetz, Riggott, Boateng, Arca, Downing, Rochemback, Cattermole, Johnson, Aliadiere, Alves, Tuncay.
Manchester CIty (from): Isaksson, Elano, Corluka, Ball, Dunne, Jihai, Garrido, Vassell, Caicedo, Gelson, Johnson, Petrov, Ireland, Geovanni, Mwaruwari, Castillo, Logan, Hart.
David James has been ruled out of Portsmouth's Barclays Premier League clash with relegation-threatened Fulham and Sol Campbell remains doubtful.
James is "still not fit" after two weeks out with a calf injury and manager Harry Redknapp admits there could still be a slight worry over him for next Saturday's FA Cup final. Jamie Ashdown is on standby. Campbell has tight hamstrings and will not be risked if the problem worsens, but Noe Pamarot is ready to deputise after one game back in the reserves since damaging knee ligaments against Bolton in February.
Sulley Muntari (rib), Pedro Mendes (hip) and winger John Utaka (ankle) are all available again after injuries.
Fulham have a fully fit squad for their trip to Fratton Park. Jari Litmanen played for the reserves in midweek and is available but is unlikely to figure due to a lack of match fitness.
Roy Hodgson looks set to keep faith with the same starting line-up that defeated Birmingham but could opt for Erik Nevland ahead of Diomansy Kamara.
Portsmouth (from): Ashdown, Johnson, Campbell, Pamarot, Distin, Hreidarsson, Diarra, Muntari, Mendes, Diop, Davis, Kranjcar, Utaka, Defoe, Baros, Kanu, Lauren, Nugent, Hughes, Begovic.
Fulham (from): Niemi, Keller, Warner, Stalteri, Bocanegra, Hughes, Hangeland, Konchesky, Davies, Andreasen, Healy, Murphy, Bullard, McBride, Kamara, Johnson, Bouazza, Dempsey, Volz, Kamara, Nevland, Litmanen.
Roy Keane has no new injury worries ahead of Sunday's final Barclays Premier League clash with Arsenal. Indeed, he has hinted that transfer-listed winger Ross Wallace could get a chance after his absence with a knee problem which has ruled him out of senior action since January.
Loan signing Jonny Evans will play the last game of his second loan spell before returning to Manchester United, while Phil Bardsley and Dickson Etuhu (both knee) are out.
Arsenal will be without defender Kolo Toure (hamstring) for their final ame of the season at Sunderland. Arsene Wenger also confirmed that Tomas Rosicky would not recover from a knee problem in time for Euro 2008.
Youngsters Kieran Gibbs and Mark Randall look set to be involved, but Robin van Persie (thigh), Bacary Sagna (ankle), Abou Diaby (thigh), the suspended Alexander Hleb and Eduardo (broken leg) are all sidelined.
Sunderland (from): Gordon, Fulop, Whitehead, Harte, Nosworthy, McShane, Evans, Higginbotham, Collins, Wallace, O'Donovan, Reid, Yorke, Leadbitter, Miller, Richardson, Edwards, Jones, Chopra, Stokes, Prica, Waghorn.
Arsenal (from): Fabianski, Gallas, Song, Clichy, Eboue, Gilberto, Denilson, Walcott, Adebayor, Bendtner, Lehmann, Djourou, Gibbs, Randall, Traore, Senderos, Flamini.
Paul Robinson, the Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper, has aggravated an ankle injury ahead of the Barclays Premier League clash against Liverpool at White Hart Lane. Dimitar Berbatov has recovered from a groin problem and is available, while Teemu Tainio has been back in training after an Achilles complaint.
Aaron Lennon (knee) is a doubt and Benoit Assou-Ekotto (knee), Gareth Bale (foot) and Ledley King (knee) remain sidelined.
Daniel Agger, the Liverpool defender, has returned to training this week after being out of action since September with a broken metatarsal. But the Danish youngster is not being considered for Sunday's final Barclays Premier League game of the season at Tottenham, although Brazilian full-back Fabio Aurelio is also in full training after a groin injury and could return.
Rafael Benitez could call on young reserves Damien Plessis and Emiliano Insua, while Peter Crouch, John Arne Riise and Jermaine Pennant all come into the reckoning for what could be their last games for the club before the summer transfer season starts.
Tottenham (from): Cerny, Forecast, Chimbonda, Lee, Kaboul, Gilberto, Dawson, Hutton, Rocha, Woodgate, Gunter, Zokora, Tainio, Jenas, Malbranque, Boateng, Taarabt, Huddlestone, O'Hara, Lennon, Berbatov, Keane, Bent.
Liverpool (from): Reina, Finnan, Arbeloa, Carragher, Hyypia, Skrtel, Riise, Aurelio, Benayoun, Babel, Gerrard, Alonso, Mascherano, Kuyt, Torres, Voronin, Crouch, Pennant, Plessis, Insua, Itandje.
Anton Ferdinand is doubtful for West Ham despite returning to training following a hamstring injury. Matthew Upson is in a similar position after suffering a calf problem and Alan Curbishley does not expect him to be fit. If both centre-halves do miss out, Lucas Neill could continue in the middle alongside James Tomkins, the England Under-19 international.
Olof Mellberg will make his final appearance for Aston Villa at Upton Park. The Swedish international is joining Juventus on a three-year contract after spending the last seven seasons with Villa.
Martin O'Neill has no fresh injury problems as his side try to make sure of a European spot - via either the UEFA Cup or the Intertoto Cup depending on results in other games involving Everton and Blackburn. But Craig Gardner has not recovered from the thigh injury suffered when on England Under-21 duty five weeks ago.
West Ham (from): Green, Pantsil, Tomkins, Neill, McCartney, Faubert, Parker, Noble, Boa Morte, Zamora, Ashton, Walker, Mullins, Cole, Solano, Sears, Collison.
Aston Villa (from): Carson, Taylor, Mellberg, Laursen, Knight, Bouma, Petrov, Reo-Coker, Barry, Young, Osbourne, Salifou, Maloney, Routledge, Carew, Agonlahor, Harewood.
Wigan Athletic v Manchester United
Kevin Kilbane will sit out Wigan's Barclays Premier League match against Manchester United on Sunday. With the club's status assured, Kilbane has been told to rest up by Steve Bruce after struggling with a back problem in recent weeks.
Mario Melchiot and Erik Edman remain sidelined through injury as Wigan look to extend their unbeaten run to six games and deny Bruce's former club the title.
Nemanja Vidic will return as Sir Alex Ferguson's men look to complete a tenth Premier League title win. The Serbian has not featured since suffering concussion in the defeat at Chelsea but has been cleared by United's medical staff.
Wayne Rooney may be on the bench after a recurrence of his hip problem in the same game, while Nani is suspended after being sent off against West Ham last weekend.
Wigan (from): Kirkland, Taylor, Scharner, Boyce, Valencia, Brown, Palacios, Koumas, Bent, Heskey, King, Sibierski, Skoko, Pollitt, Bramble, Figueroa, Hagen, Aghahowa, Olembe.
Manchester United (from): Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Foster, Neville, Hargreaves, Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Pique, O'Shea, Evra, Silvestre, Ronaldo, Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes, Anderson, Giggs, Park, Tevez, Rooney.

I watched Southend .v. Doncaster on Sky last night. What a breath of fresh air - no diving, writhing about when fouled or arguments with the ref - I think the reason was commonsense by ref and no foreign players. The Premiership could learn a lot from this type of play from a lower division match.

there would be no odds, I think, stopping both Man U and Chelsea......there should be no reason speculating a turnaround.
sanjeev, Itanagar, India
surely the most important bit of news from chelsea's perspective is the choice of referee for the wigan v united game?
at least someone up there will be on chelsea's side, eh?
jem, london, uk
If only football was that predicatable eh??? there could be a few shocks on the cards. I can see Derby getting their 2nd win against reading on Sunday. I can see Birmingham beating Blackburn, Tottenham beating Liverpool and Sunderland getting something at home to Arsenal. Funny old game!!!
chrisg, London,
There has been a lot of rhetoric this week from many quarters but particularly from Stamford Bridge, the reality is that both Chelsea and United should win their games. Both teams have had a weeks rest and if they cannot wallop teams at the wrong end of the premier they dont deserve to be in Moscow.
