Blackburn manager Paul Ince could be without key midfielder David Dunn until the new year. Rovers vice-captain Dunn faces surgery on an Achilles injury which will sideline him for three to four months. Vince Grella remains out with a calf injury, but defender Andre Ooijer should return for tomorrrow's Barclays Premier League visit of Fulham to Ewood Park after missing last week's 4-0 home defeat to Arsenal with a hamstring problem.
Fulham midfielder Leon Andreasen has recovered from a groin strain and returns to the squad to face Blackburn at Ewood Park tomorrow. Manager Roy Hodgson has no fresh injury concerns, and is likely to stick with the same side which defeated Bolton last time out. Midfielder Dickson Etuhu could earn a place on the substitutes' bench as he works his way back to full fitness. Andrew Johnson and Bobby Zamora continue in attack.
Blackburn Rovers (from): Robinson, Simpson, Samba, Nelsen, Warnock, Emerton, Reid, Mokoena, Tugay, Pedersen, Santa Cruz, Roberts, McCarthy, Fowler, Derbyshire, Villanueva, Andrews, Brown, Khizanishvili, Ooijer, Treacy.
Fulham (from): Schwarzer, Pantsil, Stoor, Hughes, Hangeland, Konchesky, Kallio, Davies, Murphy, Bullard, Gera, Johnson, Zamora, Seol, Nevland, Zuberbuhler, Teymourian, Dempsey, Andreasen, Baird, Milsom, Gray.
Bolton Wanderers v Arsenal, 17:30
Bolton record signing Johan Elmander is hoping to return to action in tomorrow's Barclays Premier League clash against Arsenal at the Reebok Stadium. The Sweden striker, who scored on debut in the season opener against Stoke, has been out for almost a month with a hamstring injury. Defender Matt Taylor remains on the sidelines with a broken toe but will see a consultant on Monday hoping to get the all-clear to return to training. Gary Cahill is also missing as he completes his two-match suspension while loanee Ebi Smolarek, brought in a day before the deadline, only linked up with the squad yesterday and will be given time to settle.
Arsenal will again be without midfielder Samir Nasri (knee) ahead of the trip to Bolton. Recent signing Mikael Silvestre remains out with a muscular problem but there were no fresh injury worries from the midweek Champions League trip to Kiev. Tomas Rosicky (hamstring), Abou Diaby (thigh), Amaury Bischoff (groin) and striker Eduardo (leg) all remain in recovery.
Bolton Wanderers (from): Jaaskelainen, Steinsson, Shittu, A O'Brien, Samuel, Gardner, Muamba, Nolan, McCann, J O'Brien, Davies, Helguson, Riga, Elmander, Hunt, Vaz Te, Cohen, Fojut, Al Habsi.

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez hopes full-back Fabio Aurelio recovers from a calf injury to face Stoke having failed to make the midweek trip to Marseille. Andrea Dossena was a less than convincing alternative at left-back in France, while Benitez must also decide whether to recall Robbie Keane to partner striker Fernando Torres. Xabi Alonso will contest a midfield role with Lucas and veteran defender Sami Hyypia may be brought in to help contest Stoke's now famed long throws from Rory Delap. Winger Albert Riera, who made his debut in last weekend's victory over Manchester United, could replace Ryan Babel.
Only Amdy Faye (suspended) and the injured Andrew Davies will be absent when Stoke finalise preparations for tomorrow's stiff test at Liverpool with a training session at Everton this morning. Both players missed Sunday's defeat by Everton and Potters boss Tony Pulis' main selection headache may concern whether to move Abdoulaye Faye back into defence after he played as a midfield anchor last weekend. Glenn Whelan will be hoping for a recall to the Stoke midfield following his fine performances for the Republic of Ireland and he could get the nod at Leon Cort's expense if Faye is switched.
Liverpool (from): Reina, Arbeloa, Carragher, Skrtel, Hyypia, Aurelio, Dossena, Benayoun, Kuyt, Gerrard, Mascherano, Lucas, Alonso, Babel, Riera, Torres, Keane, Ngog, Agger, Deggen, Cavalieri.

Sunderland v Middlesbrough, 12:45
Sunderland striker Michael Chopra could return to the squad for tomorrow's derby clash with Middlesbrough after completing his suspension. The former Newcastle striker has served his three-game ban for being sent off in pre-season, although manager Roy Keane may decide just one reserve team game is too little football ahead of a Barclays Premier League game. Keane otherwise has only long-term absentee Kenwyne Jones (knee) out with Carlos Edwards back in contention after recovering from his international exertions.
Midfield trio Mohamed Shawky, Julio Arca and Marvin Emnes all return from injury to join the Middlesbrough squad for tomorrow's Wear-Tees derby at Sunderland in the Barclays Premier League. Shawky has recovered from a hamstring injury picked up on international duty with Egypt, former Sunderland favourite Arca proved his fitness after ankle ligament trouble in a 45-minute run-out for Boro's reserves in midweek, while Emnes suffered a slight hamstring strain with Holland Under-21s. Defender David Wheater also resumes after missing last week's 2-1 defeat at Portsmouth because of tonsilitis.
Sunderland (from): Gordon, Fulop, Chimbonda, Ferdinand, Nosworthy, Collins, McCartney, Bardsley, Diouf, Leadbitter, Whitehead, Miller, Reid, Richardson, Malbranque, Tainio, Cisse, Murphy, Healy, Stokes, Chopra.

West Ham United v Newcastle United
West Ham will be without Dean Ashton for tomorrow's visit of Newcastle in the Barclays Premier League after the striker suffered an ankle injury in training earlier in the week. Fellow forward Craig Bellamy is a doubt ahead of Gianfranco Zola's debut in English management because of a hamstring and groin problem. Midfielder Kieron Dyer remains on the comeback trail following the broken leg he suffered last season.
Newcastle midfielder Alan Smith could be out of action for three months as he prepares to undergo surgery. The 27-year-old has been diagnosed with a stress fracture of his foot and is unlikely to play again this year. Caretaker boss Chris Hughton hopes to be able to welcome back Damien Duff (knee) and Obafemi Martins (groin) for tomorrow's Barclays Premier League trip to West Ham, but will otherwise have a depleted squad at his disposal. Danny Guthrie joins the suspended Joey Barton on the sidelines after being sent off during last Saturday's 2-1 home defeat by Hull, while Mark Viduka and Habib Beye (both Achilles), Jonas Gutierrez (shoulder) and Jose Enrique are still missing.
West Ham United (from): Green, Neill, Davenport, Upson, Ilunga, Behrami, Faubert, Parker, Noble, Boa Morte, Etherington, Di Michele, Cole, Lastuvka, Mullins, Tomkins, Reid, Sears, Bellamy.
Newcastle United (from): Given, Harper, Edgar, N'Zogbia, Taylor, Coloccini, Cacapa, Bassong, Tozer, Butt, Geremi, Duff, Gonzalez, Donninger, Owen, Xisco, Ameobi, Donaldson, Ranger, Danquah.
Sunday
Chelsea v Manchester United, 14:00
Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is in contention to play against Manchester United on Sunday but is not ready for 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge. Luiz Felipe Scolari could start him and take him off in the Barclays Premier League match, or put the Ivory Coast international on the bench. Michael Ballack has recovered from a foot injury but has only trained properly this week. Michael Essien is a long-term absentee.
Sir Alex Ferguson could have both Dimitar Berbatov and Cristiano Ronaldo in his Manchester United starting line-up to face Chelsea on Sunday. Berbatov missed Wednesday's Champions League draw with Villarreal after suffering a knee injury at Liverpool last weekend, while Ronaldo made his comeback in midweek after two months out following ankle surgery. However, Ferguson confirmed Berbatov is fit again and is also considering whether to hand Ronaldo a place in his side at Stamford Bridge. Ferguson is without suspended defender Nemanja Vidic, while England goalkeeper Ben Foster is out for six to eight weeks with ankle ligament damage suffered in a reserve team match against Blackburn last night.

Midfielder George Boateng could return for Hull in Sunday's Barclays Premier League clash with Everton at the KC Stadium. The Dutchman, one of the club's key summer signings, has not played since the season opener against Fulham due to a thigh injury but is now back in training and in contention. Nick Barmby is hoping to shake off a calf problem to face his former club while Richard Garcia has overcome a virus. Daniel Cousin, brought in on deadline day from Rangers, is set to make his debut after being suspended for last week's defeat of Newcastle. He would take the place of Craig Fagan, who could be out for up to three months with a broken leg following a horror tackle by Newcastle's Danny Guthrie.
Everton's Victor Anichebe faces a fitness test tomorrow after he was carried off on a stretcher with a shin injury during the club's 2-2 UEFA Cup draw against Standard Liege last night. Midfielder Marouane Fellaini will return in Sunday's Barclays Premier League match at Hull after missing the European tie because he was cup-tied, while goalkeeper Tim Howard should be cleared to play despite suffering from a virus. Steven Pienaar (ankle), Andy van der Meyde (hamstring), Tony Hibbert (knee), Joseph Yobo (ankle) and Louis Saha (calf) are still injured and will not be available for David Moyes' side.
Hull City (from): Myhill, McShane, Turner, Gardner, Dawson, Mendy, Marney, Ashbee, Halmosi, King, Cousin, Folan, Hughes, Zayatte, Windass, Geovanni, Ricketts, Barmby, Boateng, Garcia, Duke.

Manchester City v Portsmouth, 15:00
Manchester City midfielder Michael Johnson is doubtful for the Premier League match against Portsmouth on Sunday because of a groin injury. Johnson was again absent last night as City defeated Omonia Nicosia 2-1 in a UEFA Cup first round first leg game. Manager Mark Hughes could shuffle his pack but Martin Petrov remains sidelined with a groin problem.
Wingers Armand Traore and John Utaka are leading candidates for a rest as Portsmouth prepare for their Barclays Premier League visit to fellow UEFA Cup contenders Manchester City on Sunday. Utaka had to pass a fitness test on his knee to face Vitoria Guimaraes on Thursday night and was substituted in the second half, while Traore, on loan from Arsenal, played a second demanding match in five days after being away with the French Under-21 squad. Younes Kaboul and Papa Bouba Diop could return to the starting line-up but Ben Sahar has a knee injury, Niko Kranjcar (ankle) and Jerome Thomas (back) are still out so fit-again Glen Little may also feature with a debut.
Manchester City (from): Hart, Zabaleta, Richards, Dunne, Ball, Ben Haim, Johnson, Ireland, Kompany, Wright-Phillips, Robinho, Elano, Jo, Garrido, Schmeichel, Fernandes, Hamann, Evans, Sturridge, Etuhu, Glauber.

Tottenham Hotspur v Wigan Athletic, 15:00
Roman Pavlyuchenko and Vedran Corluka return to the Tottenham squad for the Premier League clash against Wigan on Sunday after being ineligible for UEFA Cup action during the week. Luka Modric has been struggling with a knee injury and also missed the win over Wisla Krakow. Alan Hutton (foot) is sidelined but Corluka can cover at right-back.
Wigan manager Steve Bruce has a selection dilemma in midfield for Sunday's Barclays Premier League trip to face Tottenham at White Hart Lane. Michael Brown, Olivier Kapo, Jason Koumas and Paul Scharner are vying to come in for Lee Cattermole, who is serving a one-match ban after being sent off in last week's 1-1 draw with Sunderland. Ryan Taylor (shin) has almost returned to full fitness but will not be considered against Spurs, while Erik Edman is nearing a return from a long-term knee injury.
Tottenham Hotspur (from): Gomes, Bale, Zokora, Bentley, Huddlestone, Lennon, Jenas, Pavlyuchenko, Bent, Gilberto, Gunter, Dos Santos, Campbell, Dawson, Cesar, Corluka, O'Hara, King, Assou-Ekotto, Woodgate.

West Bromwich Albion v Aston Villa, 12:00
West Brom hope to have right-back Gianni Zuiverloon, central defender Abdoulaye Meite and striker Ishmael Miller available for Sunday's local derby against Aston Villa at The Hawthorns. The trio are all back in training after missing last weekend's 3-2 win against West Ham. Zuiverloon was sidelined by a hamstring strain, Meite had a calf problem and striker Miller was troubled by a knee injury.
Aston Villa have striker John Carew, winger Ashley Young and central defender Curtis Davies undergoing treatment in the build-up to Sunday's clash against West Brom. All three players missed Villa's 3-1 win against Litex Lovech in yesterday's UEFA Cup tie in Bulgaria. Carew (ankle) and Young (knee) were both injured at Tottenham on Monday. Davies was a late withdrawal against Litex when he woke up on the morning of the game with a slightly swollen knee.
