Robinho has reiterated his desire to join Chelsea, insisting he is "unhappy" at Real Madrid.
The Brazil international has been expected to join the Premier League club before the end of the transfer window, however the move now appears in doubt.
Robinho has been left out of coach Bernd Schuster's squad for Sunday's league opener at Deportivo La Coruna but the 24-year-old has continued to vented his frustration at the impasse.
"The situation is still the same, I want to play for Chelsea, as I have told the president, the coach and the sporting director," Robinho said. "I want to play there - I don't know what more I can do.
"Calderon said that if a good offer came in they would let me go. Chelsea have made a great effort to sign me."
When asked whether he would refuse to play for Schuster should a move fail to materialise, Robinho said: "No. If Schuster wants to keep an unhappy player then the responsibility is his.
"Since May I've been trying to renew my contract but they didn't want to because they were so sure they would sign Cristiano Ronaldo," he said.
"Now, because they haven't signed anyone, they won't let me go."
In the wake of Robinho's outburst, Real Madrid have criticised Chelsea for their conduct during the ongoing saga, which has seen Chelsea advertise a shirt on their website with Robinho's name on the back.
That move appears to have infuriated Madrid, who said in a statement: "Real Madrid profoundly regret the conduct of the Chelsea directors, who despite knowing perfectly well the decision not to transfer the player, have continued making declarations and have gone as far as to sell shirts of the player through their official website.
"All this has done nothing but cloud the situation and confuse public opinion."
The statement also criticised Robinho for his outburst.
"Just before an important official match, Real Madrid believe that all their attention should be focused on themselves, something that has been totally ignored by the player Robinho, who made his declarations just a few hours before the start of the encounter," the statement continued.
"In relation to those declarations, the club refers to the content of their last statement which said if the final decision of the player was to unilaterally rescind his contract, we would have no alternative but to accept it."
