Guus Hiddink, the Chelsea manager, insists his side are satisfied with their Champions League quarter-final against Liverpool.
"It's getting more and more exciting at the end of the Champions League season," he said. "If you have great desire to get to the end in May, you have to play them - Liverpool, Manchester United, Barcelona. I'm OK with the draw.
"I was told that there have been a lot of clashes between the two teams in several competitions. They're never boring games between these two big powerhouses of football.
"The draw happened during practice and one of the officials came and told us. The players stopped their exercises and said: 'Who, who, who?' They were very keen to know who their opponent would be, which shows their enthusiasm. That's nice to see."
Hiddink has also revealed that he has a clause in his contract with Russia that will allow him to walk away if they fail to qualify for next year's World Cup finals. The Russian Football Union allowed the Dutchman to sign a short-term contract with Chelsea in February that expires at the end of the season and Hiddink has said he has no plans to stay beyond then.
However, Chelsea are unbeaten under Hiddink and several of the players have since urged him to stay. The club would have to take a gamble in the summer if they wait for the outcome of Russia's World Cup qualification bid. The top team from Group Four will qualify, with the runners-up involved in a qualification round. Russia are currently second behind leaders Germany.
"When we made a new contract with Russia, then of course we talked about qualification for South Africa 2010," Hiddink said. "My contract expires at the period of 2010 World Cup. But we also said, as men, that if we don't qualify with Russia, and the Russian Federation likes to go in a different direction or strategy, then we have to talk about how to end the contract.
"I've not thought about it. I'll be here until the end of May. But what would Chelsea do in between? That's a different story. It's too far away to consider. It's now March and we're talking about November. A lot will happen in between."
