Grab an Italian masterpiece for less
Liverpool will become only the third club to lift the European Cup for a sixth time if they can beat AC Milan in tonight's final in Athens.
The two sides met at the same stage in Istanbul two years ago when Rafael Benitez's side staged one of the great comebacks, recovering from a 3-0 half-time deficit to force extra time and, ultimately, win on penalties.
Benitez has been playing his cards very close to his chest regarding team selection, with one of his biggest headaches being how to nullify the effects of Kaka, Milan's outstanding Brazilian, who played a key role in destroying Manchester United in the semi-final.
The Spaniard is expected to deploy a five-man midfield to try and suffocate the Serie A side, with Steven Gerrard playing in an attacking role just behind Dirk Kuyt, the lone striker. Jermaine Pennant is being tipped for the start on the right side, with Boudewijn Zenden getting the nod over the fit-again Harry Kewell on the left.
Do you believe safety-first is the correct approach, or would Liverpool be better served gambling on a more attacking formation and using the height of Peter Crouch as a target-man to unsettle the Italian defence?
And what about Gerrard himself, the Merseysiders' outstanding player, where do you think he can most trouble Milan? Are you happy with the predicted choice of Pennant and Zenden as the wingers, or could they prove to be the weak link?
What about the game itself, do you think it can in any way live up to that remarkable final of two years ago?
Whatever your thoughts, we would like to hear them.
