Kia Joorabchian, the agent who represents Carlos Tevez, has confirmed the player will fly back from the Copa America in Venezuela next Tuesday to undergo a medical at Manchester United.
Joorabchian, who was yesterday issued with an arrest warrant from a federal judge in Brazil in relation to his business dealings with Media Sports Investments (MIA), told Sky Sports News: "Carlos is going to come on Tuesday to do a medical on Wednesday at Manchester United. Hopefully we'll get all the administrative issues sorted next week and I hope everything will be okay, we don't foresee any problems.
"We spoke to Manchester United tonight (Thursday), they are quite confident we can have him registered by next week."
According to his agent, Tevez will leave West Ham United with fond memories, after his run of form at the end of last season helped propel the club out of relegation and retain their Premiership stautus. "Carlos is a little bit sad because, in terms of West Ham, he felt very attached to the club last year," he said.
"He loved his time there and it was kind of mutually agreed he would be there for a year and he was there for a year. He served his year."
Joorabchian is confident all the necessary paper work will be completed in good time for the Argentinian to start the new season with the Premiership champions.
Tevez, meanwhile, is said to be keen to finalise the deal and focus on playing. "He's a sportsman, he doesn't really understand all the administrative bits and pieces, but he knows he's not in any way fighting with West Ham or demanding anything," said Joorabchian.

Tevez is contractually the property of MSI & systematically "loaned' out for a year or two in return for a payment to MSI & salary costs.
Thus far he has "played" for Corinthians, West Ham & now possibly Man Utd. After which time this cash cow will roll onto pastures new.
The authorities need to stop both 3rd party ownership & abuse of the loan system NOW. We have already seen it crucially affect the relegation outcome in the PL last year. What next?
If the politically corrupt FIFA or UEFA will not act then clubs need to collectively act together in the long-term interests of the game.
However with the only interests at heart these days in football being $ one's, I expect this story to run & run & run.........
ps. I am NOT a Sheff Utd fan but can understand the vent of their anger.

Disgraceful if the FA allow this to happen

I really can not wait to see Carlos Tevez in a United shirt, i was hoping we were going secure a good deal with a great striker this summer, and we have definately done that. Carlos Tevez is strong, steady and he can certainly score goals. He is similar to Wayne Rooney in being an "out n' out" striker, but I'm pretty sure they will be a great partnership in the main attacking force of uniteds structure. Tevez himself seems pretty confident in joining us so hopefully he'll play his part. I don't think United will run away with the title next season but im very sure we will be the strongest team out of the usual top 4 (Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal) AND DON'T SELL HEINZE TO LIVERPOOL!!

Surely Man Utd's approach was illegal. In fact, the most blatant act of tapping up we've ever seen.
Where is the clamour for Utd to be docked points like there was for Chelsea with the Ashley Cole case?
