This week Phill Jupitus is joined by Gabriele Marcotti, Oliver Kay and Nick Szczepanik. In a wide-ranging discussion, these are the key talking points:
- Liverpool's dismal performance against Stoke, which suggested that Rafael Benitez has bitten off more than he can chew by taking on Sir Alex Ferguson, the master of mind games.
- How Jose Mourinho, whose Inter Milan side are soon to play Manchester United in the Champions League, surprisingly took Feguson's side in his row with the Liverpool manager.
- Ferguson's tactical masterstroke against Chelsea. By leaving out Michael Carrick, he allowed Ryan Giggs and Darren Fletcher to boss the centre of midfield.
- Why the party seems to be over for Luiz Felipe Scolari's side after a ponderous performance at Old Trafford. They may have the right blend for the Champions League but the Premier League appears to be beyond them and Roman Abramovich seems worryingly disinterested.
- Manchester United's opening goal at the weekend. Should it have stood after their clever corner routine?

The law states that the ball is in play "when it is kicked and moves." It does not have to travel its circumference. That law was changed several years ago. The linesman got it wrong, obviously. Rooney does not have to tell anyone what he's doing, but it might have helped had he done so.
