2 for 1 tickets to Casablanca, this coming Monday
Felipe Aguilar is on course for a maiden victory on the European Tour after maintaining his place at the top of the Indonesian Open leaderboard after three rounds.
The 33-year-old Chilean carded a three-under-par 67 in Jakarta to lead by two strokes. India’s Jeev Milkha Singh and China’s Liang Wenchong are his closest challengers on 14 under par.
Aguilar started with a bogey on the first. But a birdie on the par-four seventh was followed by an eagle on the ninth, and he added another birdie on the 11th.
Singh completed the third round in 65, picking up six birdies and dropping just one shot. Liang, meanwhile, produced a six-under-par 64 that keeps him in the hunt for a second victory on the European Tour. South African James Kamte and Thailand’s Prom Meesawat are a further stroke behind after both carded 68s.
Philip Golding was the highest-placed Briton with a five-under-par 65 and is 10 under overall, six strokes behind Aguilar. Golding climbed the leaderboard after five birdies on the front nine.
The former French Open champion dropped a shot on the par-three 12th, but recovered it on the next hole. Things looked promising when Golding added another birdie on the par-four 15th, sending his approach shot to within five feet of the pin before rolling the ball into the hole to put him two strokes off the lead. But he dropped a shot at the 17th.
Final round, today, Sky Sports 3, 5am, 1pm
