5.46pm: On the par five 15th, Norman makes his first birdie of the day and he's briefly back to within two of Harrington. But the Irishman goes close with an eagle putt and holds his nerve to tap in the birdie putt.

He's moved to five over par and takes a two shot lead into the final three holes. Surely he won't lose it from here, will he?

5.42pm: Henirk Stenson is a shot behind Poulter at eight over, but his approach to 18 comes up short and right and surely his challenge is over. Incidentally, if Chris Wood, who has won the Silver Medal for the leading amateur, had been a professional, he would have won £145,000. Ouch...

5.38pm: Poulter holes from 15-feet on the 18th to complete a round of 69 and finish on seven over par, just one behind Harrington.

5.35pm: Chris Wood completes a round of 72 to finish on ten over par and win the Silver Medal for the leading amateur.

5.33pm: Greg Norman is still fighting he holes a massive par putt on the 14th and remains three behind Harrington.

5.22pm: Wonderful birdie putt from Harrington at the 13th, he moves into the outright lead at six over par to lead by one from Poulter. It looks like his to lose now.

5.19pm: Poulter three putts the 17th green and only comes away with a par. Big chance gone.

5.14pm: Norman finds the sand off the tee at the 13th, and his third shot comes up 35 yards short of the green, he's really struggling at the moment. Harrington finds the centre of the fairway with his tee shot.

5.04pm: If Poulter can hold it together he would become the first English winner of a major since Nick Faldo beat, of all people, Greg Norman to The Masters in 1996. Right on cue, Norman misses from seven-feet for par on the 12th and he's now one behind Poulter and Harrington.

5.02pm: Massive birdie for Poulter at the 16th, all of a sudden he's tied for the lead at seven over par. A birdie at the par-five 17th could just see him post a winning total here.

4.58pm: Two more pars for Harrington and Norman on the 11th and they remain locked together on seven over par, just a shot ahead of Poulter.
