Ricky Hatton is hoping that Floyd Mayweather Jr does not use the excuse of a hand injury or his time on Dancing with the Stars as an excuse if he loses when the pair meet in Las Vegas in ten days’ time. “I think it’s common knowledge that Floyd has problems with his hands,” Hatton said. “I just hope that when I beat him he’s man enough to say the better man won on the night, not say it was his hands or the dancing.”
Mayweather competed in the American version of Strictly Come Dancing and had to commute from his home in the gambling mecca to Los Angeles for the show, although he was eliminated in the fourth week of the series.
Hatton has been living in a house on the outskirts of Las Vegas since flying to the United States last Thursday and says that he has no doubts that he will take Mayweather’s WBC welterweight title.
“As the fight gets closer you might expect me to be getting nervous, but I am just getting more confident day after day,” he said. “I’m sure every fighter says they are in the shape of their lives, but with me it happens to be true. I’m looking forward to shocking the world.”

I grew up in Grand Rapids Michigan with the Mayweather Family, and they are anything but cocky.
For those who questions, Floyd Jr. lifestyle. Charity begins at home. I was just home in Grand Rapids, during the holiday where Floyd donates items to over 500 familes every year.
In addition, he supports other charitable organazations, he is in the process of building a center to support "Golden Gloves" where he, Roger and Floyd Sr. got their start.
Please take a look at yourself and what charitable things you do.

If Floyd couldn't beat Marie Osmond at dancing I don't know how he expects to beat Ricky at fighting.

I think Ricky Hatton is the stronger fighter. If he connects with Floyd in the gut a few times, I don't think Mayweather will last. If Floyd stays elusive, as he normally does, then I think he will win the fight.
In any case, I am still hoping that Ricky wins. Although I want the fighter from my country to be the victor, Floyd is too cocky and needs to humble himself a notch. I like Ricky because he hasn't forgotten who he is or the people around him. I see him as the good guy and the "real" guy of the two.
If Floyd has so much money in his pocket that he flashes all the time, it appears that he has some to give to charitable causes. I would rather have my money working for me with Investments, than carrying over $20K in my wallet. It's just ridiculous. No wonder most boxers end up broke after their career ends......Most boxers need to add a Financial Advisor to their "posse".

Well ... If its a brawl Ricky will win but if its a boxing match Mayweather will win easily .

All of you British boxing fans will be sorely disappointed when you see that Hatton cannot break an egg at 147 pounds. That is a fact but also a moot point, as he doesn't have the speed or craft to connect with Mayweather
Ricky Hatton is an average boxer who has imposed his will on mediocre or over-the-hill fighters in the 140 pound division.
I hope that you all enjoy watching the greatest pound for pound fighter on earth give Mr. Hatton a boxing lesson December 8th.
