We've made some changes
to The Sunday Times
TODAY
Cricket, England v New Zealand, Sky Sports 1, 10.30am
The first Test at Lord’s. Don’t forget your gloves, scarf and brolly
Golf, Irish Open, Sky Sports 3, midday; AT&T Classic, Setanta Sports 1, 8pm
These tournaments had something in common last year – the Irish Open was won by Padraig Harrington, the AT&T by Zach Johnson, who between them also took two of the season’s majors
Motorcycle racing, BBC2, 12.30pm
England’s James Toseland has made an encouraging start to his first season in MotoGP and will be looking to get back to winning ways in Le Mans
Rugby union, Premiership semi-finals, Sky Sports 2, 1.30pm
Wasps v Bath, kick-off 2pm, followed by Gloucester v Leicester, 4.30pm. Leicester got here by the skin of their teeth and shouldn’t have a prayer, but there is no substitute for experience and they have that in abundance
Athletics, BBC2, 3.45pm
Thousands of people take to the streets for the Great Manchester Run – don’t be surprised to see Rangers supporters who haven’t found their way home yet
TUESDAY
Greyhound racing, Sky Sports 3, 7.30pm
An initial entry list of 200 is whittled down to 24 as The Derby quarter-finals take place at Wimbledon. Wouldn’t it be more entertaining if all 200 raced together?
WEDNESDAY
Football, Champions League final, ITV1, 7pm; Sky Sports 1, 6pm
ITV are billing Manchester United v Chelsea as the Game of Games and are taking it very seriously - for starters, we get a proper 45-minute build-up, rather than the usual 15 minutes (including the obligatory two advertising breaks). Chelsea will have much to say about it, but what better way for United to mark the 50th anniversary of the Munich air disaster than to win the European Cup for the third time?
THURSDAY
Golf, PGA championship, BBC2, 1.25pm
Anders Hansen pipped Justin Rose to the title 12 months ago at Wentworth
Golf, Senior PGA championship, Sky Sports 2, 6pm
When Denis Watson won this title last year, it was his first win in 23 years, but he enjoyed the experience so much that he has been back for more several times since
Rugby league, Featherstone v Salford City Reds, Sky Sports 3, 7.30pm, kick-off 7.35pm
Who says rugby league is parochial? A quarter-final from the Northern Rail Cup, played at the Chris Moyles stadium
FRIDAY
Cricket, England v New Zealand, Sky Sports 1, 10.30am
With little or no time to draw breath, the second Test gets under way at Old Trafford
Rugby league, Bradford Bulls v Leeds Rhinos, Sky Sports 1, 7.30pm
Leeds are into their stride and have already opened a healthy gap at the top of Super League
SATURDAY
Motor racing, Monaco GP qualifying, ITV1, 12.10pm
This is the race, more than any other, where it is essential to qualify on the front row of the grid because the only way you can overtake your rivals is by driving straight over the top of them, and that is not the done thing
Football, Championship playoff final, Sky Sports 1, 2pm, kick-off 3pm
Hull or Bristol City will prove the tooth fairy exists by securing a place in the Premier League
Football, Scottish Cup final, Rangers v Queen of the South, Sky Sports Xtra, 2.30pm, kick-off 3pm
If it’s Saturday, and it’s Hampden Park, then it must be the Scottish Cup final. Victory for Queen of the South is unthinkable
Heineken Cup final, Sky Sports 3, 4.30pm, kick-off 5pm
Munster take on Toulouse in European club rugby’s showpiece occasion
Boxing, IBO light-welterweight title fight, Ricky Hatton v Juan Lazcano, Sky Box Office, 7.30pm
There are those who would rather not see Ricky Hatton back in the ring after the pasting he took at the hands of Floyd Mayweather, but there is always one more big payday
The man who would clean up cycling counts down to the Tour de France
