1601BST: Tomorrow promises to be another thrilling day in Beijing - join us from around 0200BST tomorrow morning for all the action. Tom Daley and Pete Waterfield attempt to qualify for the 10m platform diving final from 0300BST and Sarah Stevenson goes in the taekwondo from around 0200BST.
Tim Brabants goes for a second gold in the K1 500m at around 0830BST and James DeGale fights for middleweight boxing gold at 1346BST.
At the Bird's Nest Britain's Lisa Dobriskey has a chance of a medal in the final of the women's 1500m at 1250BST and there could be more medals for Team GB in the 4x400m relays, the women are up first at around 1340BST.
1547BST: Wow! After a breathless afternoon at the Bird's Nest here's a brief recap of what's be going on in Beijing.
The highlight of the day was Usain Bolt winning his third Olympic gold medal of these Games, setting his third world record as Jamaica won the men's 4x100m relay.
Tom Daley and Pete Waterfield have qualified for tomorrow's semi-finals of the men's 10m platform diving, both Great Britain's men and women are through to the respective finals of the 4x400m relay. However the women's 4x100m relay team failed to finish the final after a botched changeover cost them a genuine chance of a medal.
In the boxing James DeGale boxed his way to the Olympic final but David Price and Tony Jeffries will have to be content with bronze medals.
Elsewhere, Jade Johnson finished seventh in the final of the women's long jump and Brian Clay of the United States has won the decathlon, while the Netherlands took gold in the women's hockey beating China 2-0 in the final. That's you up to date.
1525BST: NEW WORLD RECORD!
Usain Bolt wins his third Olympic gold medal of these Games and sets his third
world record as Jamaica win the men's 4x100m relay in 37.10secs. Trinidad
and Tobago take silver with Japan taking bronze. Jamaica won that race by
almost a second - a breathtaking performance. They have broken a 16-year-old
world record, smashing the Americans' previous mark, set in 1992, by
three-tenths of a second.
1507BST: Here we go with the men's 4x100m relay. Usain Bolt will run the third leg for Jamaica as he goes for his third gold medal of these Games. Asafa Powell will run the anchor leg - all they need to do is get the baton round, which, as GB have proved over the past two days, is easier said than done.
1459BST: It's all over for David Price. The referee stops the fight after Roberto Cammarelle catches the 6ft 9in Brit with a thumping left hand that leaves him grabbing at the ropes. The Italian was leading 9-0 at the time, but Price takes bronze for Britain.
Elsewhere, Diego Maradona was in attandance as Argentina beat Germany 3-1 to claim bronze in the women's hockey.
