1. Mark Gasnier
Rugby league international centre who made 15 appearances for Australia before agreeing to join Ewen McKenzie, the former New South Wales Waratahs coach, at Stade Francais this summer. His two-year contract begins in October and is reportedly worth almost £600,000 a season.

2. Timana Tahu
A prolific try-scorer for New South Wales' league side, Tahu switched codes last year when he signed for the Waratahs in a four-deal deal worth £250,000 a year. He made the Australia squad for the Tri-Nations and was on the bench for Saturday's victory over the All Blacks.

3. Lote Tuqiri
Fiji-born winger made his name in rugby league with Brisbane Broncos before joining the Waratahs in 2002. After representing Australia at two World Cups, he considered a return to league in 2007 until a £600,000-a-year contract persuaded him to sign up to union for another five years.

4. Ryan Cross
Spent eight seasons with league side Sydney City before accepting an offer from Western Force, the union side based in Perth, last year. Cross quickly adapted to the new code and scored two tries in three substitute appearances for Australia before making his first international start against the All Blacks ten days ago.

5. Wendell Sailor
Powerful winger who began his career at the Broncos before switching to Leeds Tykes in 1999. He returned to Australia to play for the Waratahs in 2005, but received a two-year ban from all sports in 2006 after testing positive for cocaine. He joined league side St George Illawarra Dragons when his ban expired this summer.
