Win a £1500 Raymond Weil watch

Inspired by a new viral video for Silverjet that puts a new twist on the Mile High Club (see below), we have trawled the world’s favourite video junkyard (er, community) to find the site’s best business travel-related clips. From the classic adverts of yesteryear to the first-person video reviews sneakily shot on a cameraphone, it’s all here. You probably disagree so make sure you let us know your favourites. You could even submit your own clip and let us know.
For starters: that Silverjet video
Here are the other contenders......
The greatest business travel advert of all time?
This is surely the greatest business traveller advert of all time. It’s for the now defunct British Caledonian (it got swallowed up by British Airways) and features business blokes singing their hearts out why they like the airline to the tune of The Beach Boys’ California Girls. I’m guessing but I imagine this advert wouldn’t get made today.
Now that the world’s only commercial supersonic airliner has been grounded, you’ll have to fly on it vicariously through the wonders of YouTube. This really shows the experience from beginning to end – the slick check-in, the vast lounge, the thrill of Mach 1 and the passengers asking each other to take their pictures.
The only chance you might get to see Virgin’s Clubhouse - Part 1 and Part 2
It has to be the best airline lounge in the UK, perhaps the world. Judge for yourself with these two videos that show everything from the spa to the swanky New York deli at Virgin’s Clubhouse in Heathrow.
Business travellers fed up with the queues and the hassle of Heathrow are gagging for the opening of Terminal 5 next year, if only to make the other terminals a bit less busy. This professionally put together clip shows the construction process using time-lapse video.
The new Club World has been long awaited. Now you can see exactly what the experience is like – at least if you want to know how the privacy screen moves up and down, what size the tray is and how the automated arm rests work.
Airbus A380 evacuation – 873 people off in 77 seconds
The evacuation video of the Airbus A380 – what better to convince you to fly Boeing. Check out the scary stewardess yelling at everyone to get off and the bottlenecks that form at the bottom of the slides. Apart from anything else, the frenetic speed of the evacuation makes this one worth watching again and again.
A reminder of why business travellers flying to Hong Kong can be glad that Kai Tak airport closed and Chek Lap Kok opened. This landing of a 747 on what many pilots considered to be the scariest approach in the world gives you a real will-they or won’t they moment.
Harking back to the days of British Rail, Sir Jimmy Savile shows us what 70s business travellers knew best – you should let the train take the strain. The best bit is the business man plonking his copy of the Economist on the seat next to him, just to establish that it’s really good for business travellers.
A must-have for BlackBerry addicts
A hilarious spoof ad for a new accessory for anyone with a CrackBerry. There’s a few real LOL moments in this. And just check out that poor pixellation when he comes out of the shower.
