2 for 1 at Pizza Express

OpenSkies, BA’s airline within an airline, has revealed further details of its new business class offering, including a photo of the seats.
The airline is to call the business class offering on board its refitted Boeing 757s Biz. The 24 Biz seats will be flatbeds as shown in the photo here. Regular BA passengers will recognise them as revamped old style Club World seats.
The airline says the seats will have on-demand audiovisual and will offer innovations in in-flight catering. “We’re also out to change the meaning of airline food,” the airline’s Dale Moss said in a blog on the OpenSkies website. “First off, we’re expanding beyond the standard “chicken or beef” option to bring more fresh, healthy, a la carte selections. Add to that a great choice of wines and a service style that is modelled from a fine dining restaurant.”
Biz passengers will also enjoy dedicated check-in and private lounges.
OpenSkies is set to launch from Paris CDG to New York JFK in June although parent company British Airways currently faces the prospect of a damaging strike by pilots, upset by the terms and conditions to be offered to pilots on the new subsidiary. The airline and pilots union Balpa are currently in conciliation talks at Acas in a bid to avert the strike.
