Flybe has become the latest airline to allow passengers to make changes to their flights online.

The change facility is accessible through the Your Flybe section of the airline’s website. Passengers enter their name and booking reference and can then amend the timings or routing of their flight. Changes are permitted up to two hours before the flight departs.

Changes to route or flight times on economy fares incur a charge of £25 per passenger per sector plus any difference between the fare paid and the lowest available fare for your new flights. If the new fare is lower, no refund applies. Passengers on more flexible Economy Plus fares pay only the difference in fares. Name changes are also permitted but cannot be done online.

Mike Rutter, Flybe's chief commercial officer, says: "At Flybe we’re constantly looking at ways to evolve low cost air travel while enhancing the customer’s travel experience. Now Flybe passengers can book their flight, choose their actual seat, their baggage, check-in and now change their flights all online from the comfort of their home or office."
