Terms & Conditions
1. This offer is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over for new
bookings only. This offer is not available to employees of Times Newspapers
Limited or its subsidiaries, TLC Marketing plc or agencies appointed by TLC
and their immediate families. Offer closes on 30th November 2008, winners
will be notified on 2 December 2008.
2. The voucher entitles the bearer to one free economy class return flight to
New York (excluding taxes).
3. Only one voucher may be used per person, per household and per booking
group (group is defined as more than one person accompanying the voucher
holder) for the duration of the promotional period.
4. Flights are available from major airports including Heathrow. Departures
from other UK airports may be available and may require a supplement and/or
a connection via a London airport at your own cost.
5. The departure airport and destination will determine the airline used.
Travel to and from any airports is excluded from this promotion.
6. All booking request forms must be completed in full, submitted with your
proof of purchase and a stamped, self-addressed envelope and received at
least 30 days prior to your earliest departure date. Failure to adhere to
all of these points will result in your application being deemed invalid and
it not being processed.
7. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt. It is recommended that customers
send their booking request forms by registered or recorded delivery.
8. All bookings must include at least one Saturday night stay in your chosen
destination.
9. The closing date for the receipt of booking request forms at the address
stated is 31.01.09. All flights to the USA must be taken by 31.03.09
10. On receipt of your booking request form you will be contacted within 28

11. Offer excludes Public Holidays and Bank Holidays in both departure and
destination countries.
12. The offer is based on advance bookings only. All flights are subject to
promotional availability on a first come, first served basis.
13. By sending the completed booking request form, you are deemed to have
accepted these terms and conditions.
14. Airport and other taxes, passenger service charges, airline failure
insurance and other surcharges levied by the airline or travel organiser are
excluded and, where applicable, are payable on confirmation. Such taxes and
charges are non-refundable once you have confirmed your flight booking. All
bookings are subject to a £5 booking fee.
15. Passengers may travel with you for a rate starting at £130.00 for a
return flight (excluding airport taxes, passenger service charges, airline
failure insurance and any applicable regional supplements) and where
applicable are payable on confirmation of booking.
16. If more than two passengers are travelling, any additional passengers
will pay the standard fares that apply.
17. Your tickets / flight voucher will be posted or emailed to you within 21
days of the booking being confirmed.
18. TLC will also be pleased to assist you with your travel insurance
requirements. Alternatively, you will need to supply details of valid and
adequate insurance at the time of making your booking.
19. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that those travelling
have a valid passport and any necessary visas or other required
documentation to comply with travel and US immigration regulations.
20. TLC and the Promoter cannot be held responsible for any alterations to
flight schedules, routes and destinations. TLC and the Promoter reserve the
right to use alternative suppliers if necessary. TLC and the Promoter
further reserve the right to withdraw this offer without notice in the event
of war, earthquake, catastrophe, strikes or similar event.
21. The booking instructions (how to book) and all other information stated
within this document also form part of the terms and conditions of this
offer.
22. TLC and the Promoter reserve the right to refuse to redeem forms if
submitted by persons other than those to whom they were issued.
23. TLC will use reasonable endeavours to book your preferred flight but this
cannot be guaranteed. If the flights requested are unavailable the booking
team will contact you with alternative flights or dates for travel. Such an
offer will fulfill our promotional obligations to you.
24. Once your flight has been confirmed it cannot be amended in any way. If
you cancel your flight you forfeit your right to use the voucher.
25. Photocopied, scanned, illegible or defaced booking request forms will not
be accepted.
26. All cancellations must be made by calling the booking team (not the
specific airline). Please call the booking line on 0871 221 0511. Lines are
open Mon - Fri 09.30 - 17.30. Calls to this line from BT landlines cost a
maximum of 10 per minute. Costs from other lines vary.

28. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, nominated destinations may be
subject to change. If so you will be advised at the time of booking.
29. The promoter reserves the right to vary prices, times and offer

to press and could be subject to change.
31. Neither the Promoter, nor its agents or distributors can accept liability
for lost, stolen or damaged vouchers and reserves the right to withdraw or
amend any details and/or offers.
32. The free short haul flight voucher has no monetary value, is
non-transferable, cannot be resold and cannot be used in conjunction with
any other promotional offer or redeemed in whole or part for cash.
33. The Promoter, TLC and distributors are not responsible for the management
of the airlines and will accept neither liability nor claims for
disappointments or dispute in relation to your flight. The Promoter makes no
guarantee about any aspect of the quality or performance of the airlines.
34. The Promoter, its agents and distributors do not guarantee the quality
and/or availability of the services offered by the airlines and cannot be
held responsible for any resulting disagreements. Liability is not accepted
for any personal loss (including but not limited to wasted expenditure),
resulting from you or any other member(s) of your Group taking a flight,
caused by matters beyond the Promoter's reasonable control. Your statutory
rights are unaffected.
35. In the event of unforeseen circumstances TLC reserve the right to
withdraw or substitute the return short haul flight offer with one of equal
or greater value.
36. The terms of this promotion are as stated here and no other
representations (written or oral) shall apply.

Conditions and shall not encourage, persuade, promote, support or in any way
assist in their breach.
