What is it?

A pioneering eco timeshare project on country estate in Cornwall, on the Lizard peninsula.

Idea is that the houses available for self-catering or timeshare - that range from restored thatched and cob cottages to eco new builds - making up Trelowarren have an environmental and sustainable policy running through them. Even the timeshare concept has an eco twist.

Timeshare enables one house to be shared by many owners and it also encourages visitors to come to Cornwall without contributing to the decline of communitites that has come about with the growth of second homes and part time residents in neighbouring villages.

Best thing is the vast woodchip boiler providing heating and hot water for over 30 homes, plus the restaurant, pool and site offices.
