The first Hard Rock theme park has opened in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (www.hardrockpark.com). Headbangers can go on Led Zeppelin - The Ride, a six-loop, 15-storey rollercoaster. There is even a British Invasion area, with “the look and feel of London”. So, £5 ice-creams and lots of litter?

Care to dance?

Got a desk where your boss can't see you watching YouTube? You probably know all about Matt Harding then. The young American travelled the world in 2006 doing a cheesy dance in different locations, from Antarctica to Rwanda. He filmed it, set it to music and put it on the net. Ten million people have watched him, and he's back at www.wherethehellismatt.com - all new locations, all new music, same goofy dancing.

Who says you have to put up with surly Moscow cab drivers ripping you off when you land at Sheremetyevo airport? A new train service takes 35 minutes to Savyolovsky Vokzal station and costs about £5.50. The line will be extended to the more central Belorussky Vokzal this summer.
