Snow in central and south-west England has once again brought disruption to airports, rail and roads. The Met Office has predicted further snowfall in the south-west, East Anglia and the West Midlands.
LONDON AIRPORTS
Heathrow and Gatwick are operating as normal but both airports are warning of minor delays to some flights
London City is open and operating with some delays.
Stansted Airport runway has reopened. Passengers are being advised to check in as normal but expect delays. The Stansted Express is currently running a reduced half hourly service.
Luton Airport has resumed flights but is warning of extensive delays and cancellations due to heavy snowfall. So far 42 mostly easyJet and Wizzair flights have been cancelled. Flights this afternoon are subject to delays of up to four hours. Easyjet passengers are being told they cannot change onto later flights at the airport but have to do it by calling the call centre or on the website, resulting in extensive queues for the airport's internet terminals.
AIRPORTS IN ENGLAND
Bristol International Airport has all extended its flights suspension. No flights will land or take off until at least 4pm. So far 31 flights have been cancelled, including easyJet, Air Southwest, Ryanair, Air France and KLM flights. Passengers are advised to check with their airline before travelling to the airport. The airport's Flyer Coach service is temporarily suspended.
Exeter Airport has reopened its runway but is warning of ongoing delays. Passengers are advised to leave extra time to get to the airport and to check-in at the time advised by their airline.
Newquay Cornwall Airport is open but experiencing some delays.
Bournemouth Airport is operating as normal.
East Midlands Airport is operating as normal.
