Who is your ideal travelling companion?

My husband, Dustin. We just enjoy each other’s company.

What is the worst holiday you’ve ever had?

Boating in the Caribbean, where I hurt my back. The medication knocked me out, so I hardly remember that trip.

And the best?

A trip to the South Pacific. We chartered a yacht and toured the Society Islands. The highlight was when my children, who were still young, and Dustin surprised me by arranging a secret ceremony for us to renew our vows.

What are your top three must-pack holiday items?

A great book, my laptop and a men’s nightshirt from Turnbull & Asser. They are great for hotels .

What’s in your travel bag on the plane?

A soft, thin blanket, socks, travel Scrabble, playing cards, reading material, and my Night & Day skincare regimen.

Top beauty tips for travelling?

Keep your skin hydrated and take an iron.

First class or economy?

When I travel for my business, economy, with my husband, we fly first class.

Tourist or traveller?

Definitely traveller.

And what will be on the iPod?

I have everything from Frank Sinatra to James Blunt.

Any holiday regrets?

Not taking enough of them.
