Two walking and one cycling trip, inspired by masters of the arts, have been created for this summer by UTracks, the adventure holiday specialists. The week-long Footsteps of Dalí walk travels across the landscapes and through the villages that inspired the surrealist paintings of Salvador Dalí as he journeyed across the foothills of the French Pyrenees, along the Vermillion coast and into Spain. The trip costs from £630, with accommodation, most meals, equipment, baggage transfers, and maps.

On the Mozart cycle tour, visitors will ride across Austria’s spectacular Alpine landscapes. The Mozart Trail explores the sights and sounds that inspired the composer as it meanders though picturesque villages. It takes in the church where Mozart’s Coronation Mass was first performed and ends on the shores of Lake Wolfgang. Prices for the week’s trip start from £595.

The five-day Stevenson Trail family adventure begins every Monday until August 24 and follows Robert Louis Stevenson’s journey across the Central Massif of France, which inspired Travel with a donkey in the Cévennes. The guided walk costs from £495 for adults, £360 for children, with nights in lodges along the way.
