Mark Frary (TT, left) and the ST's Sean Newsom
Attend a special evening hosted by Mike Atherton

Our two editorial titans of the slopes pit their opinions against each other again on the big issues - which are the best ski videos? And not just pretty ski ones? Sean and Mark raid the internet - and will be back with more. Let us know your favourites on the comment form
Sean Newsom, wintersports editor of The Sunday Times:
1. Snowboarding and Bob Dylan an unlikely, but awesome combination. This is one of the entries from the JibVid competition held each winter in Tignes a great twist on an iconic piece of music (and its accompanying film), which happens to feature some fantastic riding, too.
2. Grilled cheese with extra mayo - we ski writers know that translating skiing bliss into language everyone understands is a tall order. These guys, riding a chair in Whistler, have shown me the way ahead.
3. Ever heard of the Laub? - you'll want to know more about this run once you've seen this mind-blowing footage of waist-deep powder in Engelberg.
4. Possibly the world¹s finest wipeout sequence - this is the out-takes sequence from the ski movie, Long Story Short, and I don¹t think you¹ll find a more complete medley of bone-crunching crashes.
Why? Because the film from which it was taken, Long Story Short really pushed the boundaries of freestyle skiing, and in order to get the shots, the skiers were at the limits of what they were capable of. Often, they went far beyond those limits. Oh yes, and the crash-bang-wallop music suits it perfectly.
5. Ski-kiting down the Eiger - a man with a parachute skis down the Eiger, and then floats off the northern face. Isn¹t it amazing there are guys doing this kind of thing while the likes of you and me are standing in the check-out queue in our local supermarket?
Mark Frary, wintersports editor of The Times:
6. Guy skis down the escalator at Angel tube station - a Norwegian madman skis 200 feet down the longest escalator on the Undergorund and lives to tell the tale. Tube bosses were not impressed. The world was though.
7. Kid caught on a T-bar - life’s simple pleasures – watching a kid having difficulty on a T-bar. Harsh I know but we’ve all been there – the crazy laughter from the people behind makes it.
8. Ski jumping on a snowmobile - your first thought is ‘this has to be doctored’ but then you think, Stig’s just amd enough to do it, although whether Stig actually did it or not is another question
9. Drunken après-ski at the Mooserwirt - a short clip but says everything about St Anton’s infamous après-ski hangout. Check out the guy in the green at the end who’s not quite sure about joining in
10. The fun park? - this clip, which takes rail sliding to a new level, is quite possibly the most sickening crash you’ll ever see. Does the skier walk away? Who knows but let’s just play it one more time to watch the moment when his boot hits the rail.
